So he has changed his plea from not guilty, to guilty. Therefore he is trying to save himself from a prison sentence I guess. I dont know all the facts, nobody except the courts do. But it seems like Sunderland have had a confessed *****phile playing and scoring goals for them. WOW. We all know he should never have been playing football whilst all this was going on, regardless of his guilt. These charges were so serious, if he had a normal job, he would have been suspended, possibly on full pay, until the case ran its due course. But NO, he was allowed to continue playing, probably because he told SAFC that he had done no wrong, it was a tissue of lies etc. And now he has admitted it, and therefore admitted lying to his employer, WOW. SAFC should never ever have even considered him for playing duties when this came out!! But they were that desperate they did!! They will deserve every criticism coming their way. Sunderland are now the "OFFICIAL **** FOOTBALL CLUB" They will never ever live this one down, EVER!!!!
GOOD I hope he gets his throat slit. It's not as straight forward as that though, because money talks, especially the amount of money that AJ has. They'll be some people in jail ready to protect him for a large slice of his funds. These are criminals mate and have no morals.
How much did the senior figures at sunderland know? Sunderland must have asked him at some stage whether or not he was guilty? Would he not have given them any prior notice before changing his plea? at what point did he give that notice? Before or after he scored against Liverpool at the weekend? There's alot of questions unanswered, it's potentially not unfeasible that AJ protested his innocence to everyone around him in order to continue earning his big wages, full well knowing he would plead guilty not only because he is, but I think more importantly to him, to get his sentance reduced.
Yes, he told us in private he was guilty but was just playing the game with the courts. As always, when up at court and going to change your plea, you ring your employer first of all to let them know.
sorry, but you cannot tar everyone with the same brush never the less, we (fans) have been branded as horse punches by certain individuals all for the sake of one idiot
He should be worried about the implications financially. When he is legally found guilty, the victim can sue him under 'tort of assault.'
So what he decided to change his plea this morning? are you some kind of Mong! Of course he knew he was going to change his plea before hand, his probably known for months, either he had decieved the lot of you, or the PL money is so much Sunderland backed him through it because they couldnt sell him and they wanted to use a player of his ability to try and win games.
I don't think this is one of those instances where you can lump this on the fans, I would however think that the people at the top of the club would have known some of the facts all along, they made the decision to let him keep playing and should take a whack for doing so, it will be the fans taking the stick at the next match and onwards though, as you say one idiot hits a horse and we all become horsepunchers so suck it up.
Nail on the head He was going to go guilty straightaway but Sunderland AFC advised him against it as it would effect us financially
the evidence against him would of been too much for his Barristers to defend and they would of told him so, telling him to change his plea so it would then give the Barristers time and a chance to gather mitigating circumstances
I worked part time at a Bail Hostel years ago, so I have some knowledge of abusers. Let me tell you this, they are generally on meeting them, charming, kind and likable individuals. But then you find out what they did and you get to know their case histories and you realise how manipulative they are. They will never ever admit to any wrongdoing until they are faced with overwhelming evidence. Only then, do they show any sort of contrition. They cant be cured, they are born that way they say, they say they cant help the way they feel. When they were in the hostel they were watched, even when they were outside, 24/7. And even though they had a chance of going free, it was surprising how many of them, still, could not stop themselves from slipping back to their old disgusting habits, hanging round outside schools or youth clubs or anywhere young people were. You cant cure them, they just need to be locked away or monitored forever..! That is my experience of people like this..
A couple of things - one) he isn't a ****/peadophile unless you all know something different! Not that means he didn't do wrong! I reckon his change of plea will be down to the chance of getting a non-custodial sentence! 2) This thread is the third time now someone on this board has used the term mong - can a mod have a word when this happens! It is a disgusting term and highly offensive!
I used that term as in mongrel as in a dog, I understand that there are other definitions and people see the word differently and I apologise for any offence caused. If i could swear on here I would have calling him a ****ing prick, but I can't.
