When Pearson sold it to Bartlett how much debt did we have? The important thing is whether the new owners pay Allamhouse £77m and if they do, whether they can afford to pay it without borrowing from the banks.
It's a bizarre world where a company that runs up debts of £72m and pisses off half its customers is described as 'well run'.
If as suggested last week that the Allams have taken £25m out from the parachute payments, then the debt will be down to nearer £47-48m. Based on that, should we get promoted then with the increased revenue the Allams will leave making a profit I suggest. The pisses off its customers, on more than one occasion still stands, and reflective of poorly managed club not the one that Ehab refers to.
This is football which is a bizarre world unlike any other. Don't try & compare it with the normal business world!
Valid point, and potentially true. At the time they were welcomed with open arms, particularly given their local connection. From a financial perspective they have done well in what is the crazy business world of football, in other respects they haven't got a clue and have screwed up plenty. Brucey has held it together looking in from the outside but I wouldn't want him to be our manager if we are promoted
Correct, however a fair proportion of that will walk out the door come the Summer. At least with the younger squad members their value should increase (potentially)
Nothing is of course fixed or confirmed, however if Huddlestone as an example who has been cited by other posters is pissed off at lack of game time, and remember he's out of contract come the Summer so will be able to get a signing on fee elsewhere, that's £5.25m of asset that walks out the door (potentially) albeit his value may have been marked down in the books
As things stand currently, the following will be out of contract is the summer... 2016 - Aluko, Sone 2016 - Davies, Curtis 2016 - Elmohamady, Ahmed 2016 - Huddlestone, Tom 2016 - Jahraldo-Martin, Calaum 2016 - Jakupovic, Eldin (GK) 2016 - Taylor, Ryan
If the Allams hadnt took over there would of been no Hull City now , we would of gone bust and we would all be watching North Ferriby Utd
