Heaven for me for about 20 years was finding the Hull Green Sports Mail in the postbox 9-10 days after matches were played. Read it all avidly.

Streaming anything has been out simply because of the snail-like internet speed in my location. Help is at hand ,however, as the new National Broadband Network system has been installed in my street. Cost to access this will double the current outlay but will provide interface speeds of 25/5 Mbps.
Out of interest, how much will the high speed link cost you? I'd heard internet was really expensive in the US, relative to UK prices.

As he lives in Australia (the clue is in the user name), that isn't really relevant.

Out of interest in my location in Aus. I will pay about 40 quid/ month for the high speed service.

Your user name was the name of the girl on my first date in Hull. Never reached a second date and she just wanted to be called Plum!

I use a variety of streams and a pre loaded Kodi box. Malware is hidden in all types of downloads and football sites are no better or worse than any.

Back in the day, I have been hit several times with malware, but in the last five years, I have not had a serious attack. That said, I do not use online banking and never will. The reason is that I do not have confidence in the banks.

Posters who are concerned about security but want to watch streams should invest in either a Kodi box or a cheap disposable pc, tablet, laptop. It's easy, do not use the device that holds your personal info, to download.

The biggest threat to your information comes from your family and friends, not football sites. Email providers such as Yahoo get hacked. My spam box gets upto 60 spam emails everyday. I looked at it last night and there where at least 4 that contained viruses. Everyday my "Sister" sends me an email, only it is not my Sister, she had her emails hacked and we changed her account, but everyday I get at least one,a with subject headers like,"Just for you".

£40? Blimey! I pay SKY £10 a month for a fibre connection with unlimited downloads. Get speeds of 25-35 Mb/s which is fast enough for me.

Using something like Amazon Fire stick for Kodi is equally effective.
Have never had the problems you have. Though I did occasionally get property deals and employment opportunities addressed to someone with the same gmail name I use on one account. But no emails to that person on other subjects.

Line rental alone is more than that. They all like to sell it as 'broadband for a tenner' or whatever but as you have to pay the line rental it's nowhere near that cheap.

Maybe Castro doesn't realise that what he is paying is only for the first 12 months and then it doubles.

Line rental is £14.99 and you need that regardless of your provider else you've got no line for your internet to run through.

Sky fibre unlimited is £7.50 if you have Sky TV as well. All sky contracts are 12 months so if it doubles you just ring them up and ask for a repeat of the price else you'll cancel, they always oblige.

They will also knock a bit off your line rental if you have a big enough package. I know this because I've done it three years in a row. My full sky package excluding sky go extra has never cost more than £62 a month.

Of course I realise it . But at the moment I am paying £10 and when the time comes will switch if I can get it cheaper elsewhere if they won't negotiate.

KC Lightstream doesn't use the telephone line, therefore they're actually making us pay for something we don't need.
