Rather keep Aluko, are you crazy!!!! Aluko is a waste of oxygen and proof that some people should always use contraceptives when having sex

Even Aluko admirers wouldn't necessarily produce unintelligent offspring. There's a thing in genetics called Regression To The Mean.

Powell is an unknown to most of us, clearly with the talent he supposedly has he should have done much better. NP took him to Leicester so he must have thought he had something but I can imagine if he didn't tow the line with Pearson then no messing he would get rid which is exactly what happened. Now he as got to take a long hard look at himself because if he doesn't do the business here then I am afraid his career could go right downhill. Now its up to him his contract with united finishes in the summer how much does he want to make it because to me signing for Manchester utd he clearly thought he had, Lets hope his all attitude changes and he comes here and gives it a right good go. Regarding the rest of our transfer window yes I think most of us were hoping for us to bring in a decent proven striker but it was never going to happen with the situation of the Allams supposedly selling the club so keeping our squad together was so important, it could have been better but it could certainly have been a lot worse.

If Cameron Stewart and others can **** about here under NP and not get sent back, Powell must have really ****ed up.

Perhaps he was an alcoholic too.

Haven't heard anything about Stewart so can't speak to that.

Take the piss all you want, but I wouldn't say something so serious if I didn't have a good word about it.

He may well be past it now, but for a while he was in a fair bit of trouble.

Hanging on to all our existing squad was more important than those we brought in, so we've got to be reasonably happy with what's happened. Powell is an unknown quantity, he has had some problems and he has a lot to prove, the fact that he's out of contract in the summer makes it far more likely that he's going to grasp this opportunity. Fingers crossed.
I cant see Powell getting much game time unless we get injuries

I hope you are both right.
But it's a risk going for promotion with only one decent striker.
Akpom is a young lad, inexperienced, inconsistent, unreliable for us at this level and with these stakes.
Diamonde has no experience of English football, has had one good season in Norway, failed in Belafrigginrus, and has injury problems!

Powell may help. BUT I fear we really do need a striker still.
Powell in, Diame (unfortunately) out for say £5m, FC in. Decent business. Hull City promoted. [HASHTAG]#sorted[/HASHTAG][
