Football Manager computer game expert

"A box-to-box midfielder with great stamina, work rate and determination, Doucoure is not especially cultured but would bring a strong physical presence to the Hornets.

"In FM, he’s seen as a decent Premier League player but his attributes for passing and technique are 12 or higher so he’s not a total clogger.

"Anything more than £3m as a fee would probably be over-the-top, though."

We have asked Football Manager expert Alex Stewart - a man who is no stranger to snaffling bargains and spotting potential, all from the comfort of his own laptop on the popular computer game - to offer an alternative perspective on the transfer market.

What the **** are the BBC doing <laugh>

It's woeful

I mean the guy is sitting there with fm 2015 asking his scout about players who come up then looking at a game he saved 5 seasons on and what did he do.

ZERO EFFORT

Oh his stamina is 16 and his work rate is 15 but my scout says.... and he quotes what the game would bloody say!!!

Sky are ridiculous but this us just sad

Didn't we get 1m (euro's) back in the form of a loan fee for the lad.. so we didn't even pay 5.1m for him...
Looks a decent prospect but we need some "ready" for the first team quality in the Summer..

I know it's off topic re: Pelligrini but may I say the Guardiola situation is disgusting. Poor Pelligrini! Some ****ing owners are never ****ing satisfied and frankly they keep on doing a Chelsea!
Agree, I wonder what's going on behind the scenes there. Bar a Champions league semi or final or something Pelligrini has done what was expected.

Goes about his work with little or no fuss, doesn't attract controversy and wins titles. The 'modern game' drives us all bonkers <grr>

i see the guardiola ****fest has begun...

i'm sure even rodgers could win titles with bayern and barca

what will guardiola do for you that mancini and pellegrini hasn't? honest question

I see Jose enrique could not agree a move to Newcastle. Their offer must've Ave been **** to him.

We are stuck with the fifa expert til may so.

There is nothing wrong with January window.

It's there for a purpose and you can see newkie working it.

The thing is sky have hyped every deadline day and everyone is the same... dull and pointless as anyone with a brain has done their work in good time.

Even we in our cheap way bid 10 days ago or more on Teixeira and we all knew that was it.

Deadline day is a long drawn out drying paint watch thread cos sky have made a big deal out of nothing.

I agree there's nothing wrong with it. It gives teams a chance to change some things if needed.
It's people own fault if they raise their expectations too high, because there usually isn't a huge amount of meaningful stuff done.
Just don't buy into the media's attempts to drive everything up to a level of hysteria.

the january window is like the summer one condensed from 4 months to 1. in may we will have guys whining about why have we not... in june guy will be whining, in july it'll be the same.....
