i am not aware of any problems in that stand today what was bad we were unable to get programmes inside the ground despite being told several times someone would be coming with them another missed opportunity for extra revenue
It was funny to watch, if you remove yourself from the embarrassment. Nothing to do with the allocation, just knobs being knobs. Talking to an old pal at half time who said there'd been some fisticuffs in the carpark pre-game. Didn't see owt myself like.
That was nothing to do with the allocations, the scrapping was with the stewards, there weren't any Bury in the (pay on the day) West Stand (or if there was, they didn't make themselves known). There were some empty seats in the Bury stands anyway.
Believe me when it was free every single stand was full. For some reason when it comes to attendances we talk absolute bollox
I know 3 lads who were in the Manny Road and they said there were about 50 all of which were sat to the left towards the entrance. When you scored there were loads who didn't even jump up or celebrate. I didn't understand err stand the attendance, Bury said sell out and weren't letting fans in the home stands but there was only 4200 Bury. Yet again an example of our club talking ****
All outside for some reason probably because we couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery as this game and the ticket fiasco showed.
Missing the point. The club said sell out but then said 4200 home fans. The reason you hot 5000 and it was made all ticket was becoz of Hull bullshitter at how many you'd need.
Au contraire I believe that the decision to give us another stand came from your club looking at the ticket sales and estimating that the most likely club to fill it was us. I don't think Hull City were claiming we'd sell it out at all Turned out not to be the case, and if I was a Bury fan I'd be pissed off (most days) but I think you need to look closer to home for the reason
Nobody at Hull City ever said we needed or wanted 5,000 tickets, we were perfectly happy with initial 2,700 allocation.
Its very unlikely that we would sell that many tickets to watch our 2nd XI when the next 2 weekeds are important fixtures at Burnley and Blackburn. I am lucky to be able to go to all 3 but a lot of supporters would choose to miss the 2nd team game. Even if you really believe it was our clubs bullshitter surely your club is guilty of not trying to verify that statement.
