The black pudding stall on Bury market is probably not for you then.
They shout out the options : fat or lean, hot or cold, mustard or ketchup !!!!

Hi folks thought I'd register because it's important you are aware of something. Bury fans are furious with the club because they've underestimated Bury numbers and only given us 5000 abd given you 5000 tickets although ground holds 11500. Obviously you won't sell 5000 so the Manny Road is virtually empty so the club's made it pay on the day for you but not home fans. With this being an unusual situation there are Bury fabs all over social media stating that they will be going in the pay on the day stand with Hull fans. That stand will most definitely be a mixed stand with no segregation. I must point out Bury fans are doing this not because they want beef with you but because this is a huge game and they don't want to miss it. I've had many fans I know say they have no other option because of the ineptness of our club. What the club should have done is give you the southstand and then the family stand overspill which holds another 1000 giving you just over 4000 and give us the west stand meaning we could both pay on the day. I just hope the actions of Bury the GMP and the safety officer do not create a powder keg situation because people are estimating there will be 300 Bury fans in your stand maybe more. Apparently there is even one supporters group of 50 from holland coming who haven't got tickets so have no option. We are not trouble makers at Bury we just want to support our team so if you do see Bury fans please remember why this situation came about. Have a great day and enjoy the game lads.

Good to hear you love your trams.

I have some sympathy with your club tbh, recent gates never indicated this would be hugely popular with your lot, and really, not like we're a big draw, we're just Ull.

Hopefully there's no trouble, which would spoil what should be a good day.

    Enjoy the game.
You have to admire Bury fans for supporting their home town team when there is a tram service that takes you directly to OT in the town centre.

We've averaged 4400 fans this season 3700 Bury fans and it's the first time we've been to round 4 for 8 years it was always going to sell well. I'm bringing 14 with me and 7 are newbies. The club sold out of tickets yesterday morning and because you couldn't do online sales after Wednesday lots of exiles won't have tickets. Bury have cocked up big time with this and to only give home fans 5000 in a ground thst holds 11500 is disgusting imo. It's certainly unusual to have away fans paying on the day but home fans not. Like I said no one wants any hassle they just want to watch their football team and this is the only way to do it. I know of 4 going in there and they've said they'll keep quiet but if we scored that's hard to stick to. We just want a good day had by all so hopefully stewarding will be good.

Murder round here mate city and Utd everywhere but I think it's important to support your towns team not sit in a pub with a sharp top on. Plus we class ourselves as Lancastrian not dirty mancs

If you go on the market there are two stalls forget the Bury blackpudding company go to the one about 10 yrds away (Chadwicks) that's the original stall and the best

I know my in laws live in Bury but they are Manc exiles and have been a split City/United family virtually since birth.

Don't have a problem with that it's the people who were born in Bury and don't care about their towns club. Saying that for big games our fans have always turned up but our new owners being from Huddersfield wouldn't have known that.

Given what has happened to us in the past it would good to think City fans could be respectful of this situation.
    However ....

It doesn't help when only Thursday night Bury issued a statement saying it's pay on the say for Bury fans. They then said there were only 150 tickets left then yesterday said there were 50 left for pay on the day so first come first serve. Totally confusing.

From the original statement it appears Bury average 3200 at home this season. They mustered 8000 when entrance was free & less than 3800 for their next game when it wasn't free. They had a a crowd of way less than 6000 for their last 4th round tie, albeit 30 years ago, when the decision was made Bury had sold around 400 tickets compared to the 1300 we'd sold.

Season ticket holders were informed, by the club, prior to purchasing a ticket that there may be a need to move seats for some games. This decision should have come as no surprise.

I would have thought the psuedo anger that a small number on social media have created, manipulated & intensified would have been better directed at the pseudo Bury supporters who only turn out for games that are free or against, so called, bigger clubs rather than at their club who are, quite rightly, trying their best to exploit the match as a way to increase income. They obviously thought they had more chance of achieving this by making the tickets available to HCAFC supporters rather than their own unpredictable supporters who only turn up when United or City aren't at home, it's free, they want to watch another club under the guise of Bury supporters or they see it as an unfair opportunity to beat the club up. Season ticket holders & supporters who turn up week in week out should support the club in this decision.

If the paeudo Bury supporters turn up in the City end & trouble ensues then the club will be sanctioned accordingly. A cost that will fall at the feet of the club rather than the fake fans responsible.
