Think Washington and Matt Ingram are big names for the market we are now shopping in and these are "exactly the type of signing we should be making".

They were both two of the brightest young English talents below chamionship.

Now this bloke done well in League One and JFH knows him so for the price of 2 months of Hoilets wages it's well worth it.

I'm happy with the new approach. Just a shame we allowed Ramsey to do so much damage. But moving on things look more positive
Didn't Ramsey start this approach? I already regret asking.

It's interesting who we 'credit' with bringing in certain players. Is it the Manager, the DOF, or a combination of both. Someone even suggested that Sandro was signed by TF rather than Redknapp. I suppose it depends somewhat on our own personal prejudices.

Everything bad was Redknapp's fault. And TFs for letting it happen.

I thought I dreamed that one. Was it real?

Toszer and Angella. Ramsey really did bring a few in didn't he?

Yep. Ramsey and Les brought in all these, and moved out a few pensioners/ near pensioners. Ruined everything didn't they<doh>

El Khayati wasn't prolific in Leagues One and Two, a youth player in Dutch football that is obviously the link with JFH, can only be a squad filler...

Think this is exactly the sort of strategy that Ramsey was originally employed to implement - hence the signings of Loungo, Hall, Smithies et al ...just that the unexpected development of Austin, Green, Phillips, Fer et al staying (unrealistically) upped all our expectations of this season

That might have been me. I suspect the truth is that none of it is as straightforward as we make out on here. One thing is clear though there seems to be a genuine ethos to the signings we make now and it's happened since Les came on board, those calling for his head are going to hinder more than help the clubs progress in my opinion.
