You just know Bruce is going to lose his target, which at the moment is Bamford, the guy obviously doesn't want to come, so move on, we have this every year! Then end up signing some s****y striker!
I think Bruce has said in previous interviews that he'd like a Crouch or a Bamford but doesnt think they'll be available to us. Crouch because of the wages and Bamford because he wants PL football. So surely we'll have other targets. Im guessing ppl like Anicehbe, Campbell, Gayle etc.. 3rd or 4th choice strikers for PL teams.
Chelsea have received a €10m offer from Leicester for Loïc Rémy. Not sure if that's a typo, Leicester wouldn't bid in Euros.
Errrr… i don't think so. You can have the best strikers, if the service is crap you get zip!!!… as we well know!!.. Boro dont create enough .. end of.
Middlesbrough have offered £9m for Blackburn striker Jordan Rhodes, 25, with a further £2m based on appearances. (Sun)
Newcastle have been told by Chelsea that it will cost £12m to sign striker Loic Remy, 29. (Daily Mail)
Leicester City are preparing a £15m offer for CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa. Some of these have to be bollocks, they can't be bidding for all these strikers they're being linked with.
Wolves have made a bid for Cardiff City striker Joe Mason. Bristol are now favourites to sign Lee Tomlin.
I think Tomlin's the sort of player Brizzle need, they've been turned down by worse players this window.
Given the circumstances and the terrible team he inherited I think he is doing fine and is being backed by the board who obviously see day in day out the progress being made. They are a completely different team now from he one that started the season. They have a fight in them they which they lacked at the beginning and they will end up staying up with a couple of games to go if they get a good striker like Remy
Birmingham City are set to sign Watford forward Diego Fabbrini for £1.5m on a three-and-a-half year deal.
