Nowt from the snooker club either, so it is definitely bollocks.:emoticon-0100-smile

For once you are correct. <laugh>

Word from the snooker club is we're re-signing David Brown, Stuart Green, Billy Whitehurst and Steve Massey.

(That last one is admittedly a reach.)

Which snooker club do you go to then ? <laugh> Certainly not mine. :emoticon-0116-evilg Chalk your info upto being wrong :emoticon-0112-wonde

Word at my club has us after Rodney Marsh - Paul Merson and Fabrizio Ravanelli.!!! :emoticon-0105-wink: We can confirm though that the Dave Bamber rumour is nonsense. <ok>

Chelsea are to let Loïc Rémy join Crystal Palace as long as they sign Alexandre Pato. [Mirror]

Looks likely that Chelsea will also sell Patrick Bamford,,,, however they want a buy back clause / first refusal clause. I think that would suit us better (for now at least) than say Norwich City.?

As for Middlesboro, it has gone very silent on the Ross McCormack story. Maybe the tixylix did not work ? <laugh>

TBH if I was a manager and chasing a player and that player feigned illness/spat his dummy then he'd go down in my estimation.

You want fighters not fannies.

It looks like Spurs might be throwing a spanner in the works, it seems they want to do a swap deal with Southampton for Wanyama.

Not a chance. Southampton rate Wanyama in the £30m bracket.

Sunderland have offered £10m and striker Fabio Borini for Swansea City forward AndreAyew.

Not a chance that will happen either. For 2 very good and obvious reasons.

Spurs have now confirmed they've agreed a £12m fee with Newcastle for Andros Townsend.

plus £2m add-on IF they stay in the PL.<whistle> Daniel Levy knows how to ring the sponge super-dry.!!!<laugh>

Andros Townsend - "As soon as I knew of Newcastle's interest they were the only club I wanted to join."

<laugh> Warra cockwomble.

Townsend actually means - ""As soon as I knew of Newcastle's interest they were the only club I wanted to join - As they are a slighty better option that the Spurs stiffs"". More like it Andros. <ok>

Boro on the verge of signing Ramirez on loan from Southampton

Now that is funny. From Rhodes - Bamford - McCormack to Ramirez ? If that breaks down where to next ? Yannick Sagbo maybe ? <laugh>

Bournemouth are in for QPR's Matt Phillips.

Due to Stanislas getting nobbled at the weekend. Could be a long term injury. AFC Bournemouth have suffered more than we did last season. However I hope they stay up for next season. First or last PL fixture away next season - Bounemouth please.!!! :emoticon-0103-cool:

I agree. Or as was discussed in a Fulham pub pre-match - maybe McCormack did not want to play against a team he will join (in the summer) at some point ? :emoticon-0105-wink:

If McCormack was on his way to Middlesboro he should have been wanting to play and bust a gut to get one over on a rival - I know I would. From memory, Snodgrass and McCormack are good mates.?
With our Scottish brothers now taking over from the ever dwindling ROI ones you just never know.

I think Bournemouth's approach to matches is refreshing, great on the eye, and good to see one of the smaller clubs 'giving it a go' in the Prem

Crystal Palace are tracking Hull City midfielder Mohamed Diame.

The Senegal international joined the Tigers from West Ham in 2014 for £3.5million.

He immediately impressed before injury struck, ruling him out of the second half of last season as Hull were relegated from the Premier League.

Diame returned to action in August and has played a key role in Hull moving to the top of the Championship.

Crystal Palace are now plotting a move for the 28-year-old as they look to add to their midfield options this month.

Steve Bruce, however, is unlikely to let Diame go without a fight with his side fighting for promotion back to the Premier League.

Agreed. But Blackpool with Ian Holloway as manager also had that mindset. In the end it cost them dear as they did not close out games they were winning or drawing. But yes I do hope that Bournemouth stay up.

After last weekend Norwich City look desperate. Score 4 and still get beat at home after being 3-1 up. Norwich leak goals and wont always play against Liverpool's defence either. Aston Villa have gone and Norwich look like another IMHO. Who is going to make it a 3 some then ?

Considering how long Boro seem to be taking to sign McCormack, and now they've signed Ramirez, we should just put a bid in for ****s and giggles.

The man wants to leave Fulham, and if nothing is happening on the Bamford front, go for it. Don't bid the same £9m as Boro though.

On Diame to Palace - ask for Gayle in return as part of a swap, or no deal.
