Word from the snooker club is we're re-signing David Brown, Stuart Green, Billy Whitehurst and Steve Massey.

(That last one is admittedly a reach.)

Ramirez would be an excellent player at this level. He started getting a lot better towards the latter part of his loan here, although no helped by being continually being played out of position.

When he first came, he was a precious little flower. The gust from someone breathing on him was enough to send him off balance and tumbling to the floor. Fast forward to the 3-2 home defeat to Chelsea, he was wrestling people off the ball and causing havoc.

He definitely went back to Southampton a better player, or better suited to the premier league at least. I think he's unlucky he's not been given a real crack of the whip.
Agreed, thought it was a shame losing him and if the Boro thing comes off, hope he doesn't return to haunt us.

Was that before or after they got Naismith? How many forwards do they want - who do they think they are, Derby??

Probably, but they have also sold Grabban. Naismith looked great on his debut, he's the sort of player I always hoped we'd sign when in the PL.

I accept that Naismith is a decent player - but he's also been the biggest cry-baby of any City opponent in recent years. His constant falling, petulance and whining to the ref against us on New Year's Day last year was truly astounding for a grown man.

Bamford would be an Ideal loanie, when he was at Forest he played twice for the youth team, aged 16 . in the 1st game Forest won 5 - 0, he scored all five, the second match Forest won 9 - 0, he scored 5 again and had 4 assists . this prompted Chelsea to come in and pay 3 million for a 16 year old. Wherever he's gone on loan he's been a major success apart from Palace.
