No 999's such a viewpoint is not allowed, it's far to sensible for some to consider, it was all Karl Henry's fault end off.........

I think the problem that keeps recurring is related to poor positioning and it runs throughout the team.

It's unfair to single out one player or another; however you cannot overlook a lack of on pitch leadership that exacerbates this problem further.

The thing is the goal was Henry's fault. I have just seen the replay and when he is in the middle of their 3 players and the commentator says "Henry is closing them down" He stops and moans to his players for not helping him. He loses concentration and their player goes on to score.
There are fine margins in the professional game and when you 'turn off' it can cost you. Like today, Herny 'turned off' for a second which cost us. If you can watch the replay and see. I was there and saw it up close.

But he's not Dutch so that aint gonna happen. He did sign someone who wasn't right at the start. £65 million of Spanish donkey. And look where that got them both.

Interesting that the instant replay did not even show the build up, where as you say he was the only one challenging at all. Must be his fault though because he didn't win the ball back and set a fabulous counter-attack.

Let's change the subject. Why have we persevered with Green for so long? Smithies played a blinder. Green hasn't since Wembley.

Disappointing result and yet another Rangers performance of two halves. An amazing first half where we didn't maximise our control and opportunities; a second half where a double deflection seemed to have us completely losing our composure and falling apart at the seams.
A shame not to have two wins on the bounce; $hit happens. Plenty of positives to take out of the day if Col's team ratings are anything to go by.
The great Henry debate seems to go on and on. It's a team game and I find it hard to lay all the blame on one guy when it was, effectively, the double deflection that beat Smithies (who it was really good to see play a great game; it will be interesting to see how the Smithies vs Ingram scenario plays out).
On to the Florists and it will be interesting to see Washington have a bit more game time in a game I don't really expect us to win if I'm honest.

On the Smithies v Ingram debate I would hope the plan is to develop and showcase both and sell them on for vast profit. That, after all, is the business model - pick em up cheap and sell em on for dosh. Same for Washington, Luongo, Hall. Won't manage it every time, but we can't afford PL wages if we are not in the PL, and good players will get snapped up. We need to establish a conveyor belt of talent. The players we keep year after year are the ones who aren't quite good enough but are at least usually solid and moderate earners. Like Onuoha. And I suspect Polter.

At the moment we are a selling club which is very short on stock and which consistently prices poorly and sells at the wrong time. Let's hope we are learning as we go.

I think the players who he was moaning at for not helping should also be held to account. Hoilett had a player to watch but surely he must have realised that the player going for the return pass was the danger in that situation. But the goal wasn't his fault either

Hoilett and Phillips have all the defensive awareness of a six-year-old who has been promised a mars bar for every goal he scores.
