Agree with DT and Col..Fer is not exactly the weak link....but we cannot play with him in the team.

I think I have said before...he us too good for the championship. It is too mad, too fast, too intense for him.
He cannot play in this league.

In other words, he's a lazy git.

This is it, rock bottom. I was watching on the telly as my wife went out. On her return she asked if we had won. On hearing the result, her words were "At least they didn't lose" with a concerned look on her face.

She's moved from amusement and contempt at our struggles to pity and fear for my mental well being. I think I preferred being laughed at.

My missus is so used to my apathy she doesn't even take the piss anymore...

Were people actually watching the game?
Henry cost us the first goal by not making the correct decision and on other occasions prior to that hesitated or was asleep.
Seriously people need to watch a game.
Nothing against Henry and in the past have praised him but today he was toilet.

Yes I was there. Henry did not cost the goal....Henry missed the player...there was no cover.
But the goal took 3 yes three deflections.

Lets build a team this season... Next year is ours

Hardly rock bottom is it? There has been far worse times.

Hasselbaink bemoans Chery’s late miss

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink bemoaned a late miss by Tjaronn Chery after QPR’s 1-1 draw at home to Wolves.

After coming on for his debut, new signing Conor Washington found space on the left and teed up his fellow substitute only for Chery to fire against the post.

“In the first half I think we needed to score again and make it 2-0,” Hasselbaink admitted.

“Yes, they were on top of us in the second half, but in the first half we caused them a lot of trouble. We also had a really good chance in the last minute to score and make it 2-1.

“I would have backed Chery every day of the week to score. Nine times out of 10 he would score that, but this time he didn’t.”

Hasselbaink said he was pleased with QPR’s display

Rangers made the perfect start, going ahead when Sebastian Polter headed in Matt Phillips’ second-minute free-kick – the German striker’s fourth goal in five matches.

But Wolves equalised through James Henry’s deflected shot two minutes into the second half and were then the better side.

It means Hasselbaink is still waiting for his first home win since taking over as QPR manager.

The Dutchman said: “The important thing for us is that we keep working hard and keep doing things right.

“I’m very happy with the performance of my players and the way we slotted together, especially in the first half.

“In the first half we looked very, very good – and Wolves are certainly not a mug of a team.

“It wasn’t the result we would have wanted, but I’m very happy with the players.”

Perch and Konchesky were better than of late and Smithies was a positive, but overall we were poor. Didn't really look like winning the game once it went to 1-1.
I would like us to lose Fer, Hoillett and Phillips in this window, get some more youngsters in and let JFH go to work.

He made the tackle and won the ball as I recall, but it went loose to one of theirs and the rest of our midfield just stood off the sitiation. Their fault partly, no way Henry''s. But they jus got really lucly with those defletions..

Spot on. After Henry's tackle the ball ran loose.

At that point the Wolves player should have been closed down.

An unlucky goal to concede and more bad luck when Chery's shot came back off the post.

Why Washington only got 7 minutes is rather strange but it is QPR.

Probably the same reason Austin only came on with 10 minutes to go with the scores level.
He scored.
If he had played the whole game Southampton would probably have won 5 or 6 to nil.

I've been a fierce critic of Henry but there was a huge slice of luck with there goal. On another day the deflection is thicker and it goes off into the crowd. My criticism of him is more to do with his slow thinking and the loss of attacking momentum. I can think of 3 times today that we could have had a fast break on but he just paused while the cogs turned (very slowly) then he passed it sideways. He has great passing stats but that's cos he just passes it 5 yards sideways or backwards. He likes to give hospital balls too.

Pretty much agree. I would add Green & Sandro to the exit list. Get some new faces in that have been identified by JFH & put the foundations of a team together that look organized, confident in their individual roles on the park & will play how the manager sets them up. As a fan that is the minimum I want to see from my team, only problem is it has been a while since I have seen that from a QPR side.
I believe Washington will prove to be a fantastic signing, we have needed someone with the pace to run in behind defences & think he will work well with Polter & would play both, especially at home.

I thought that Hall was at fault for the goal. He stepped away from Henry and allowed him to shoot instead of closing him down.
The issue with Henry was that he was isolated in a triangle of three Wolves players. Hoilett just stood and watched instead of getting back and helping out. Konchesky stood off and protected the space. It's debatable if he pressed and left the space behind him vacant and it was then exploited if he would then be at fault. Lluongo was also out of position and stuck in no-man's land. Perhaps it was he who was at fault more than anyone else.

Regardless, the whole second half was poor from a Rangers perspective.

I didn't include Green & Sandro as it's obvious we are trying to offload them but totally agree.
