Not going to argue but no it isnt. Joint venture only.
No one would just buy the stadium, its the land as well.

There's nothing to argue about, I've discussed it with Hull City Council and they're definitely willing to sell the stadium outright, though if it's conditional on getting all the land around it, it's still knackered.

I hope no one would actually welcome that **** to our club.

    The Jordanian, not Chazz.

Doesn't like the German way of ownership because he want's total control, including I imagine picking the team. He is pissed off about the system of ownership most of us would love, but we'll never have.

We'd be a plaything for someone like that, and not in a good way.

The only positive thing about an owner like that would be HCST would grow in popularity, although most fans would just **** off, then the club would bore him and we'd be more ****ed than we've ever been.

Oh I'd support a move away from the KC to Bev. Smashing town that.

If it ever moved and a huge complex was built...

    That created jobs
    Made money
Added to the area and provided new services
Increased capacity and revenue for the club

Will people look back and think AA wasn't wrong to try and generate a sport complex and regenerate the existing site? Some still think it was all greed but with income generation comes benefits for everyone in the area.

It would be a travesty if the KC went to ruin and the public purse saw a valuable asset decline to nothing, with no return.
And I agree with the arse chinned crab that this is the last thing we need right now, when focus needs to be on the team and the club.

The crux of the problem is, the current site the KC occupies will always be underused and kept for specific, and wrong reasons. That area will never be developed.

If we leave the KC, the KC and the surrounding area would be ****ed and would be a sad waste to the HCC tax payers as you point out.

Allam wanted to buy it and do something useful with it. HCC won't allow it. They'll never sell any of the potential of that area, it seems to suit them better to keep it as it slowly decays. And blame everyone else.

    It's such a shame.

For our football club, the next best thing is to move. Thats not good for the City though.

And yet some still refuse to lay the blame at the feet of those responsible for this awful standoff, and lack of future potential, HCC.

I am pretty much OK with any new owner that comes in or I will at least give them the benefit of the doubt. I dont see anything wrong with the Jordanian guy.

The blue print would be something like Derby or MK! But AA didn't actually make an offer for the stadium to the council! And if rumours are to be believed he wanted it for nothing!

    So in summary

Eddie Jordan, and another bloke whose name isMike are buying the club, but moving us to a new stadium in Munich. Tickets will be £18.60 per game
However his name isMike will only buy us if he is allowed to change the rules of football
Some fans think this is good
Some fans think this is bad
    Some fans aren't sure

Some fans will wait a while and see what happens before they start hating or loving anyone

    T as they say WT

Not many people think Allam was wrong to want to expand and develop the stadium complex. He had widespread support for it, despite very little information being available publicly. His problem was his way of trying to get it and ridiculous reaction to not getting it.

Allam didn't want to buy it, he wanted HCC to donate it as their contribution to his development, if anyone does want to buy it, they can.

Keeping most of the site empty, for use just two weeks a year, is ****ing ridiculous, maybe at some point someone a bit more clued up at HCC might review that stance.

It would be mad to move the stadium, it's pretty much rent free and even someone wanting to own it could buy it for the fraction of the cost of a new build.

My understanding is that Allam wanted to be gifted with it; HCC consistently stated that they had never received any offer from Allam, or any request for a price, so the decision over whether or not to sell never really arose, even though they said they would consider any sensible proposals.
What do you have that changes that?

Lets just say we're moving to Beverley. Its all been said.
There's enough stuff you can see from TG and Brady to say it wasnt for sale and it would go to a referendum of the voters.
A private convo with a politician isnt worth the paper its not written on.

AA opened up negotiations to buy it, the councils stance meant he couldn't put a bid in
