as Gwillam once said in the phone in (it was summat about rugby , a players passport bla bla blaa ) '" i don't care about facts" - "we can apologise tomorrow" - "but we all want to talk about it so get on the phones listeners" - ok i used quotations but its a near paraphrase - one of the worst examples of presenting since Since Saville & Hall did "junior its a knockout" at my Primary school :/
Could the shift be linked to this? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ying-Premier-League-or-Championship-club.html
Talk on Saturday was that events have indeed stepped up. I expect as the season goes on and we stay in the top 2 then the price goes up each week, hence the urgency now from the buyers. A new stadium is also part of the plan, apparently.
Yes. Why would they want to sell when the new PL riches are around the corner ? I also don't think that any offers have been made to the Allams as bigger / more established clubs already in the PL are available. Everton being one.
The Allams are in talks to sell the club, it's no longer a matter of opinion. Whether it comes off or not is another matter completely.
