To put this to bed once and for all a better question to ask might be a very simple.
Who on balance believes the current arrangements and how the board moderators perform their task is perfectly adequate and doesn't need changing?
Would you be prepared to live with that? Or is it all about how clever you are at creating debating points for no real reason?
On balance, I believe the board moderators perform their tasks adequately within the boundaries of the current arrangements however, like life itself, I vote that the current board moderators should look into, and discuss extending and/or changing the current boundaries brought about by the current arrangements by way of updates, supercessions, and additions to the current arrangements which, by definition bind the current board moderators to the somewhat elderly current arrangements.
