Automatic promotion? I wouldn't be satisfied unless Pompey went up as champions so that Pompey can lay claim to being the second club to manage the clean sweep of all four divisional championships.
Burnley are one of a few teams to win the championship of all top four professional divisions since the current structure emerged in 1958 (the others are Wolverhampton Wanderers and Preston North End)

It takes a Pilgrim to stir things up! Happy New Year to everyone in Plymouth. Visited the city once in 1982 and I loved it!!
And the same to you Ides. We Pilgrims are here to ensure things move along as they should so just doing my job. SB3 is awake, still alive and well as this proves. I think he just had a couple of months where he wasn't sure if he was. Clearly just needs a prod now and again so I'll leave him with you to keep him going in future.
I had not realised during my slumber that the Scummeers are now just 6 points off the relegation zone!
The dream relegation for you SB3 would be Southampton, Chelsea and Manchester United. I suspect many a Pompey fan would love that scenario.
