A lot of teams chancing there arm with the FP terms and staying up. Bournmeouth were fined a massive amount last year as I recall. Interesting Villa seemingly haven't been trying to buy there way out a the hole, perhaps they've given up the ghost already. Allardyce has said he took SB's advice on N'Doye!!!!

Bournemouth don't actually know what their fine will be yet, it could be anywhere up to £10m.

Burnley are set to make a second offer for defender James Tarkowski after Brentford rejected an initial £2.5m bid.

Newcastle are looking to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino for £18 million and have just been made favourites to be his next club.

N'Doye has now arrived in Sunderland for his medical.

Afobe is probably a decent enough deal, he's young and looks like an all round excellent player, but Grabban is a funny one. He had one good season in the Championship, Bournemouth flogged him for £3m when they went up (which looked a good deal as he hasn't been up to much in the Premier League), yet now they're paying £8m to buy him back.

I'm staggered at that price for Grabban. I thought he was a realistic loan option for us. Better lower my sights!

Reactions: Fettis the striker
This may have been posted on here earlier but Kingfut is stating that Elmo is "eager to sign an extension and stay with the Tigers". Good news if true IMO although he is not having his best season.

Hull city's coach Steve Bruce said that talks opened with the club's winger, Ahmed Elmohamady to sign a new long term contract with the Tigers.

Elmohamady's contract is set to expire this summer which makes it a priority for Bruce to make sure the 28-year-old stay in KC stadium.

Kingfut recently confirmed that Elmohamady received offers from English Premier League clubs Everton and West Bromwich Albion. The player also received a few offers last summer after Hull City was delegated to the second tier, however, he decided to stay in Hull.

Even though no agreement was reached yet between the Egyptian player and the club, Hull Daily Mail said that Elmohamady is eager to sign an extension and stay with the Tigers.

There's a key word in there. Delegated.

We are little more than delegates of the premier league, sent to the championship as emissaries on a highly trusted top secret mission of infiltration and sabotage.

A mission the league bosses would rather trust to us over long time members Newcastle.

Our stock is rising, we hve our fingers in many pies.

Sunderland fans will be pleased to hear that! <laugh>
