Personally not a fan however but would give us a different option and adds a bit more quality to a poor central midfield!

 

I do like Shelvey, as much as he looks like he was created in mordor. Swansea shouldn't sell though.

 

Good move, for both parties. Also weakens an already struggling swans side.

 

I think he is a good player, would add a bit of steel to our midfield and can carry the ball with pace and power. Might complement Colback quite well so its a thumbs up for me. And he is english, knows the league and at 23 still has time to develop.

If we signed him I would be happy.

would be a good signing for me ..decent mix of steel/bite and some creativity/passing and the odd 40 yard screamer too etc ...plus!, who wouldn't want an orc in the midfield?

Press speculation ..that he would prefer to go to palace though ..which is understandable

I can't stand Shelvey. He seems to be a particularly annoying player who opposing fans can't help to hate.

To be honest that sort of player is exactly what we need and what we've been missing since the likes of Barton.

 

Could be great signing for us. I would be well happy at this. Still more needed though. Sadly Austin doesn't appear to be one of them.

Definitely a good move. Plus he has good ability from a dead ball. Which we don't.

 

He'd be a good replacement for Tiote's/Anita's position in centre mid

 

Shelvey and tiote or anita for me colback is the worst cm player in the division

 

Is he really only 23? Feels like he's been around for ever. I thought he was about 30.

He's no world beater but he will put a shift in. He's a ****ing dirty **** though.

I think he would make a big difference to us. He gets stuck in and his first thought when he receives the ball is forward not back or sideways like the rest of our CM's...well the ones we play there at least.

 

This and this **** me. We need a player who can ****ing play forward.

 

Mclaren might see him as a winger
