Think he was 62, still no age mind. Share your sentiments about the band Chazz. Another person of our time taken way too early. Sad day for music.

It'd probably have made Lemmy laugh though.

Jack Daniel’s files for bankruptcy after Lemmy death
please log in to view this image
Jack Daniel’s, one of the world’s largest whiskey distilleries, has filed for bankruptcy in the wake of the death of Motorhead front man Lemmy Kilmister.

Lemmy was well known to enjoy Jack Daniel’s bourbon and was responsible for over 85% of JD’s market share. News of his death has caused the share price to plummet.

Jack Daniel’s CEO, Jack Daniel, had this to say:

‘When we heard the tremendously sad news of Lemmy’s passing ,we immediately contacted our legal team to proceed with filing for Chapter 9 bankruptcy. We didn’t think we could go on after George Best passed away but we know that without Lemmy, the business is, as Lemmy would say ‘Pretty ****ing ****ed’’.

RIP Lemmy. I met him after me and a mate managed to get backstage at Leeds queens hall after the gig. Think it was 80 or 81. He had a filthy looking woman on each arm. Great bloke sadly missed.

A couple here that will only have any meaning to either ex Royal Navy and anyone who attended Hull Trinity House.
    1) 771 Search and Rescue squadron, who where based down in Cornwall. UK SAR is taking over this role from all military SAR wef 1/1/16. Google these guys, they conducted 1000's of rescues with members of the squadron receiving some high decorations for their parts in this fine service. I'm proud to have served this wonderful squadron.
    2) Capt Dennis Thompson, headmaster at Hull Trinity House during my time there. Known as 'The Boss', he certainly knew how to rule a school, none of this mamba pamby ****e nowadays. The way he ran Trinity House stood me good stead for 25 years service in the forces.
RIP to both, proud, honoured and privileged to have been a part of both.

We had a ''Thommo'' as a teacher back in my day (late 60's) - he, like all the other teachers, certainly wasn't one to be ****ed with: I just Googled him and found he was headmaster in the 80's, I'm not sure it would be the same one that taught me.

    RIP all the same.

If he hands the size of baseball gloves then I reckon it's the same fella.
Capt. Thompson was certainly one not to be ****ed, I remember smelling gas in a French class, Capt Thompson came in to check and said something along the lines of ' it won't make a lot of difference to this class'.

Jesus, I thought The Boss died years ago.

Used to live in Wawne, right next to the River Hull if memory serves me right.

He was brutal and let's be honest totally unhinged.

    RIP big man.

But he did one last year. Get a grip, keep it real.

Your inaccurate post could have, incorrectly, won somebody the office sweepstake. Big bucks involved in some offices.
