John 'Brad' Bradbury, drummer with The Specials, has died at the age of 52. The ska group tweeted the news: "It is with deep regret that we say goodbye to our great friend, the world's greatest drummer, our beloved Brad. RIP." When the original Specials split in 1981, he joined the reversioned band The Special AKA, who had a top 10 hit with Free Nelson Mandela. Bradbury took part in The Specials reunion tour in 2009. He also headed up a band called JB Allstars. RIP
Great sadness of hearing that Lemmy from Motorhead has Died today, R.I.P. and a true legend of hard rock Lemmy actually makes Ozzy look like a choir boy by comparison. HAWKWIND's Silver Machine being his best IMHO. Thanks for the memories and R.I.P. man
Alfredo Pacheco, El-Salvador's most-capped player who was banned from football back in 2013 for life for match fixing has been shot dead. 2 of his friends were also hit in the attack. R.I.P.
My sister in law is staying with us at the moment and is friends with 'Brad' and his wife Emma, she says he suffered from depression and assumes it's a suicide. Sad.
