Didn't get one of the many penalties we should have either. Which didn't help. William handball and the foul on Mata were Stone wallers.

Rooney lucky in the end too
 
Really disappointing match. Some good chances but a draw against a tentative Chelsea side still not good enough. For me LVG must go. The players are playing better but his influence is still there.

A point I feel is better for United than for Chelsea but in reality both needed a win. United's players are really not good enough either. This team is definitely not good enough for 4th place.

The chavs seem happy with a point but in fact 20 points in 19 matches is pretty pathetic. At this rate, they will get 40 points at the end.
 
Absolute garbage. Two tired old dinosaurs slugging it out. Rooney cant score from six yards ha. Still, I doubr hell care when collecting his 1.2m monthly wage at end of next week

Swings and roundabouts. Agree with you about the penalties though.
 
Chelsea's tactics today suggested that they do see themselves as potential relegation candidates. They're just looking to grind out enough points to get to safety. I thought Hazard's performance off the ball was embarrassing.

We didn't need the win. We'll get a lot more than 38 points and we won't do anything in the league, so decent point really.

Nah you were away from home, Hiddink saw everything from us was going out wide (as it has all season). He starved our full backs and pushed them back. He took a risk with the spaces he left in midfield but I think he hedged his bets that we wouldn't be playing through the middle, particularly with just Rooney there, and he was right. In the end our players became frustrated with giving the ball away and committed countless fouls. It wasn't pretty I grant you but in terms of tactics I thought it was clever. Had you been more clinical on the counter attack, you would (and perhaps should) have scored. You created the two best chances of the match.
 
chelsea defended well .. we were unlucky .. but overall is how our season is going .. am not an arsenal fan to cry about the non given penalties .. it happens ... but overall better performance, especially from Rooney

Nah, It's about building confidence. I'm disappointed that we didn't go for it more but then we had no strikers.
