Sir Alex was one loss away from getting the axe in the FA Cup valley in his early days , the rest is history , United have a young semi stumbling group right now , could really mold into something good .United need to hang onto their manager right now and not throw them away like bic lighters ...just an opinion though , these guys would know better .
I would agree normally. The problem is the standard of the football our manager has had us playing for over a year, is far below the potential of our squad. Whatever happens you need to see progress, even in the style of football. You could with Fergie, even in the early years regardless of the results. You could give Van Gaal 10 years and we'd still be playing thick pea soup football.
