A reminder of the ten players whose contracts run out at the end of the season - Elmo, Davies, McGregor, Meyler, Huddlestone, Aluko, Jakupovic, Taylor, CJM and Townsend.

Yes if true but it wont be.

No harm in that but I would be amazed if Naismith even considered a drop down. Norwich City on loan maybe his best bet until the summer.

Aluko - Taylor and Townsend for sure wont get another contract here.

The rest will be subject to what league we are in come May.

Id throw in CJM, Jak & Davies! Davies simply for the reasons that he seems to have fallen out with SB!

I`d be amazed if Aluko had an offer, by Bruce`s own admission he has not recaptured any decent form despite having been given chances to do so. Taylor was an obvious stop gap until we got `Dave`, so I doubt whether he will get an offer. The Jak, again doesn`t inspire any confidence so he will no doubt be shown the door (we can only hope). Davies may be a surprise, I suspect that he will get an offer, albeit I suspect not one that he feels he deserves given his mutings previously.

Of those in danger of going in the window, like most, I`d be amazed if Thudd remains should we get any form of decent offer from anyone daft enough to put their hand in their pocket, Diame I suspect will get interest and could go again if the right offer is received.

Again along the lines of everyone`s thinking, we desperately need to bring in someone capable of finding the onion bag, I can`t see us splashing out big, but the lad at Walsall, Tom Bradshaw may be worth a punt. Forget the likes of Rhodes, I suspect the Allams aint going to fund anything near what is required to bring the likes of him in.

Taylor was a complete waste of a signing.

The chances of Curtis Davies been offered a contract by us are slim and none. And slim's out of town.
Couple of million offer from Bmouth and he's gone.
I just hope we've got someone in mind as his replacement.

I've not mentioned it before but i think we should sign a few forwards. <whistle>

Bruce might find a forward under the Christmas tree.

Davies must be a cock behind the scenes as he has had a massive fall from grace.

I agree. On reflection had we known then what we know now re Jake and Snoddy returning, I don't think it would have happened. If Brucey bought him as back up for the full back positions then he made a mistake.

I've never been a fan of him, but strikes me bearing in mind Abel and Diomande play off people, that Crouch would be a brilliant loan for us this window. Defences we are playing against us have us sussed out banking the midfield and back line and he would give us many more options.

He's injured though and he'll probably go straight back into Stoke's side once he's fit. I'll be Walters that drops out.
