Depends what you mean by valuable. If you mean he would command the highest transfer fee at this moment in time then no, if you mean the ratio of cost to value then yes.
Cost to sell on but I also think he would, have highest fee? Can't see anyone worth more given his age.

That's what I remembered too but I excluded it as I couldn't find any mention.

That would take the total to £59,350,000.00.

Here's the full list in case anyone wants to challenge it, or I've missed anyone.

McG - 1.5
Robbo - 2.85
Maguire - 2.5
Davies - 2.25
Dawson - 3.5
Elmo - 2.5
Dave - 3.5
Huddlestone - 5.25
Livermore - 8
Meyler - 1.5
Diame - 3.5
Clucas - 1.3
Snodgrass - 8
Maloney - 1.5?
Hernandez - 10
Diomande - 1.7
Feckin ell.... That's more than we have spent !

It baffles how blind people can be! We have been underperforming for 2 bloody years now! Our squad last season with a decent manager would never have got relegated and this season we should be doing exactly what Newcastle did in this league and that's blow it away! Our position flatters us as apart from Middlesbrough game, you tell me when we have looked far and away the better team!!??

Steve Bruce has done exactly what he has done here everywhere he has been! And you lot wonder why Sunderland fans hated him in the end! Get him out of this club now for god sakes! It's been going on for far to long.

And before anyone says 'who would you bring in' well where do I start!
Chris Hughton would come here in a flash.
<laugh> Is that the Hughton Norwich fnas hated. Who paid how much for Van Wolfswinkel?

First paragraph absolutely ****ing spot on

That was a piss poor display - half the team turned up with the same attitude as the majority of our delusional fans i.e. ''it's only Rotherham''; well, ''only Rotherham'' kicked our arses today, they wanted it more, they battled harder. I'm not into singling players out but, a couple of ours really stank the place out - those who were there will know who I mean. What a gutless display!

Unlucky or bad finishing? I see Burnley are hitting form just in time for their visit to the kc.

Hitting form? They won today, their first win since beginning of November. Winning one is not "hitting form", it's halting a run of six games without a win.

If we were hitting the same sort of form as Burnley there'd be suicides a plenty on here, Samaritans all over Hull would be on overtime & the streets of Hull would be awash with dummies.

Yes well on our current form and their win today - added to the fact they are our bogey team I don't fancy our chances on boxing day that much - hopefully I will be proved wrong.

Places the value of the team that started at 3 Ross McCormacks haha

That's a hell of a lot. How many teams in this division do you think fielded a starting XI today which cost more than that? I don't know the answer but I'd be surprised if it's more than 0.

Maybe its time to go back to 3 at the back. Hayden could play there or at a pinch Huddlestone until Dawson came back. Maybe one of the allowed 606 thread starters could attempt to get a discussion started about this and other possible solutions to our current predicament, as opposed to us all just p.... and moaning.

But got to say its depressing not the Christmas present we all wanted.

Bruce did rightly point out even though we gave two goals away we could have still won it with the number of chances we had. So its not as though we were not creating anything.

Dont understand also why Diomande has not been given a run out in the under 21's yet?

At least we can put that whole bollocks about us losing because Huddz is in the team to bed eh fellas?

Or Bruce Jnr.

Today was no different to the way we have played for the majority of this season. Slow, no tempo, bereft of attacking impetus, it really is poor. Particularly given the opposition, worst defence in the championship and we couldn't score.

I am tired of Bruce trotting out the same old excuses - there is no excuse for a performance like that.

Maybe time for SB to ask each of the players if they really want to be here. Poor attitude today and at TWS not to mention 1st half V Reading. Those who want to go sod off in January and lets get players who want to give everything for the shirt every week not just against the so called top teams.

I like Huddlestone but if we sold him in August and matched Huddersfield's valuation for Butterfield before Derby got in there and signed him, our midfield would be a lot better than it is now.
