Well that's a 9th defeat in 16 games for Chelsea, they are now 20 points behind Leicester and we are not even halfway through the season!
2-1. FT. Deserved victory. That's 9 losses in 16 matches for Chelsea. 16th in the league, 1 point off relegation. Will never not get funny!
It is hilarious considering all the bullshit Mourinho spouts - especially his 'specialist in failure' jibe against Wenger!
The absolute maximum points total that they can finish on this season is 81 points and that's assuming they win the remaining 22 matches (which they inevitably will not). The last time a team won the league on a points total lower than that was in 2010/11, when United won it with 80 points and the time before that was in 2000/01, when it was also United with the same points total. In other words, if any Chelsea fan felt there was even the slightest hint of them still having a shot at the title, they have next to no chance.
Mahrez is a serious player. Always wanted a left footed wide forward of his quality, and despite Campbell doing well, Mahrez seems like the perfect player for that right side in our front three.
this was mentioned on another thread by CFC FFP and at the time chelsea were 750/1 to go down, and i said the mad dog has bet £1m on it as a way of getting his money back as he has **** all chance of chelsea ever repaying him
Even if they find their form again, which I expect them to do, they have left it too late to reach the top 4 realistically - you'd have to say they'd be expected to lose 2 games minimum between now and the end of the season and draw at least 5 more, which is title winning form, that would still only leave them with 60 points. And can anyone see them putting in a title winning run of form between now and the end of the season?
What is he worth now though in the market £30m ? Also Leicester have seriously wealthy owners, so I think they'll probably offer him a massive deal to stay put.
Maureen has just told Sky sports that he was 'betrayed' by his players tonight who are not at the 'top level' Way to build confidence Maureen
I think this is one of the reasons why the players are losing faith in him. He always seems to blame everyone else except himself. Never wants to take responsibility for the fact that he manages the players and the team. I'm surprised he's still in a job at the moment, to be honest.
At the start of the season Jason Cundy said that if Arsenal finish above Chelsea he will have a back, sack & crack live on the radio.
