Quite. What's the point of arguing about the timing of a change which makes no difference?*Shrugs* who knows. Hasn't made a jot of difference.

Agree on that point too. Really struggling to understand why we look so poor this season and its not just the last few games, we no longer have that attractive flowing style that scared the s#$t out of teams last year and won us so much praise.*Shrugs* who knows. Hasn't made a jot of difference.
It's been done too late. Three at the back wasn't working. It should have been ditched asap. What's happened afterwards isn't that relevant. If the team isn't working then you make changes. Particularly if you are losing with three centre backs, two DM's and Davis on the park.
At least we have more attackers on the park right now that might produce a moment of magic.
I'm not sure Tintin. I mean, yeah, my head agrees with you, but the reality is that if it wasn't working, whereas a 4-2-3-1 would be better, then we'd notice a significant improvement whenever the shift occurred. There is no improvement in reality. So the 'preferred' formation isn't working as much as 3 at the back wasn't.
You may well be right and it might have been better earlier, but we can't know that really. I don't think we're losing this because of formations is the point, it's because we're on our arses confidence-wise and particularly scoring-wise. If it wasn't for Gazza being inspired, we'd be two or three down now, whatever the formation.
The manager certainly isn't to blame for the piss poor defending on the goal. Fonte and Van Dijk had a mare. Nor is Koeman to blame for Hennessey's wonder save. Gazzaniga has also kept us in the game. I still think you change system asap if 3 at the back is going no where. No need to have three centre backs on the park when you're trailing.
A few questions to be asked of RK at present TBH.The only positive is Gazzaniga. Quality performance.
I thought Koeman had ruined it when I saw the selection. Turns out I was right. Absolutely dreadful selection. Why no tadic?
That's harsh. But he should've scored there. Is there a worse striker in the prem than Shane long. He must be a better right back than a striker, he couldn't score by accident

Koeman he is definitely under pressure now for the first time considering the fixtures coming up. Hopefully we can turn this around with a win against Spurs. Best to forget today completely now.
Team for Spurs home for me.
