Sadly the only positive thing so far is that Gazzaniga has looked pretty solid. Hopefully we can nick a point. We never seem to steal a point when playing badly. Maybe we can score a corner with Ward-Prowse coming on.
Exactly. I mean I'm not disagreeing with the fact I'd have preferred the switch, and perhaps a little earlier. But I don't sign up to the "it should have been done at half time" - reality is that it doesn't seem to much difference, and in reality none of us know really.
I expect much of the focus after the game will be on the decision to play five defenders and two, arguably three, defensive CMs. But who is to say that we wouldn't have been this poor even with Tadic and Pelle on the pitch? For all we know, setting up defensively may have still helped us, as we might have lost say 3-0 otherwise. We're on poor form at the moment, whatever XI Ron wants to put out. as you say, "again". I'm not putting it down to the formation. But hey, there's still time to get something from this game yet.
It's been done too late. Three at the back wasn't working. It should have been ditched asap. What's happened afterwards isn't that relevant. If the team isn't working then you make changes. Particularly if you are losing with three centre backs, two DM's and Davis on the park. At least we have more attackers on the park right now that might produce a moment of magic.
