We're light up front, midfield are going to have to chip in with the goals, pity Akpom didn't take his chance against Leeds it would have given him a shot in the arm.

Most people I would think, whether that includes Steve Bruce is anyone's guess.
Given our lack of available strikers, he's got to consider lining up in a similar fashion to the Leicester game.
Now I know some of us keeping harking on about that one, but it bloody well worked.
It was a system that brought the best out of the players that are currently available.

Good news, bit surprised that Diomonde hasn't had a couple of run outs with the under 21's.
Bruce back to his old ways.
Diomande, Meyler, Dawson all thrown in early. All will be out til mid February.
Play a striker in the striker position? Good god man you'll get locked up for that silly idea. No, I'm expecting square pegs in round holes again.

The weather conditions are going to be poor tomorrow afternoon, hope it doesn't turn the game into a lottery.
Please Brucey, please don't rush them back. We aren't that desperate that we want to risk them being out for even longer.

Hope SB 100% sure regards the fitness of Dawson and Meyler, a crucial part of the seasons coming up and we need them 100% fit.
