Didn't really help us against Derby, did it?

The point is we can't take Bolton or any opponent lightly.

Akpom is getting the ultimate thumbs-down from me: I'm changing my avatar pic to someone/something else. He doesn't deserve to succeed Quinniesta.

Bruce didn't help us against Derby, and generally is a handicap.

If N'Doye and Jelavic had done what they were well paid to do we would not have been relegated despite all the points we chucked away at the start of the season. End of.

As for your other points, well you think what you like. Ok.!!

Not much more N'Doye could have done. Not conceding late in games against Man City, Stoke, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle, and others were what killed us.

Yes I did and the team sheet was not wrong. What was wrong was the attitude. If we had started the game like we started the 2nd then it is more than likely that we would have got something from the game.

Your not one of those who understands the real game anyway. You should Stick to football manager.

The home game with Sunderland and the away game @ Leicester where vital points were lost as both N'Doye and Jelavic missed easy chances. 2 draws when we should have had 2 wins = 4 points more and Aston Villa go down.

Yes other games can be mentioned as well but those 2 are obvious ones especially when the race to stay up increased.

More than likely. Chelsea lost for poor application where it matters most.

I have never pulled the kid down for a start. He looks a prospect but needs to be brought on in the right way and in the right environment. TWS on Saturday was not that at all ffs.

However, I would give Luer some game time on Saturday and certainly ahead of Aluko and Akpom.

Nobody will ever know what would have happened as he did not come on. Guess work does not win matches, well not in the real world.

Whooosh. Of course there is. The point I was making is obviously lost on you.

I'm afraid Clucas hasn't. Akpom did, and now a random tiger has succeeded Akpom.

You really couldn't make this up. I am sure the 21yr old Luer might disagree with you about him being 'way too inexperienced'.

How the hell do you see such a big difference between a home TWS team and a Bolton away team?

You're talking ****e; we needed a natural striker to start, he needs and deserves senior game time - a run out against TWS would have stood him in good stead against Bolton - another opportunity lost.

Those two were hardly to blame for relegation. Jelavic was excellent last season and if he'd stayed fit we'd surely have stayed up. Our record with him fit was alright. NDoye lost interest at the end but was a cheap desperate buy and did some good at first. Swapping Long for Hernandez was what really cost us.

A fit Jelavic would have gone a long way towards keeping us up last season. Long wanted to go back South (or his wife did) and I think the plan was to bring in Rhodes for around £10M. My understanding is that Rhodes wanted to come and a deal was on but Blackburn suddenly slapped a £15M price tag on him forcing us to look elsewhere.

There's numerous games that cost us, ironically Arsenal & Man City away are 2 that jump out, also N'Doye missing a good chance v Lichester, Newcastle at home & away. But that's all history & is what it is, I never fancied us to go down as there were always 3 worse teams than us, just not when it mattered! They all had good runs, even we had a good run, just not good enough!

    If's, but's and maybe's.

The fact is you banged on about there being no chance of us getting relegated and took a swipe at anyone who suggested we would/might.

Ultimately, you were wrong, we were relegated and deservedly so.

Yeah right. The real game of pro-football is much harder than football manager. As for playing him @ TWS ?
well you think what you like. I feel sure than many many others don't share it.

We were relegated over the seasons results. However the Sunderland(h) and Leicester(a) stand out as games drawn that should have been won. Even Hernandez missed a one on one @ Leicester.

As for Long going was nothing to do with football. We got way over the odds for him. His sale was not the reason we were relegated either. Missed chances by N'Doye and Jelavic were in the end.
