Not necessarily.
He may have other irons in the fire;may prefer hotter climes;doesn't fancy working with/under Jenkins;etc.
He didn't start the "Moyes for Swansea" story,the media did.
Not his fault if people get excited/angry at the prospect of him becoming Swans' Manager,and then distancing himself.
I don't agree Lib, though I suppose we don't know the truth of his reasons. Working in a warmer country doesn't come into it (have you checked out his skin?) and our Board has a decent reputation. The only conclusion I can come to is that he thinks he's too big a name for Swansea, though as you say he may well have another iron or two in the fire. We'll see.
Disagreeing with me ,as you know,is no crime.
Re his skin colour,well,you don't have to lie in the sun all day to enjoy a more clement environment. Also,being a ginger,he'd be factored up to the hilt.
I think the Board's rep has taken hits in recent years,viz,Laudrup;Vorm transfer.
Re his thinking he is too big a name for Swansea,well there is/was no bigger a name than Laudrup,and it didn't stop him.
Anyway,"we'll see".
Moyes would be a fool to turn down the Swansea job if offered , but then again Moyes was a fool to leave Everton ...
Moyes can't handle a big club, he proved that at ManU, he needs to go back to a small club like Everton, not for us, thank goodness he doesn't want to come here, the footy would be awful........... 
If he doesn't fancy it,then he would be "a fool" to take it,just because it were "offered".
Moyes was offered one of the plum jobs in football,so taking it was hardly being foolish.
He took the job thinking, a)it was a good career move,and,b)he would be a success.
The fact it didn't work out at Utd. is just one of those things.
But,to have turned down Utd.,now THAT would have been "foolish".
I can't understand all the negativity towards Moyes on this forum.
His record against The Swans' is a very good one,both for Everton,and Utd.

Moyes had an opportunity to be a "Poor Teams " Sir Alex legend at Everton .
His eyes were like saucers when he got to United , much like Rodgers at Liverpool .
Both should have known there limitations and known the "Grass is Greener " rule .
Now Moyes will aimlessly travel from job to job and when he writes a book will say he should have never left Everton ...just an opinion though , like you'res vetch.
But sometimes ambition has a way of deterring happiness .
I'd take it with a pinch of salt at the moment. He's obviously not going to say he's interested when Monk is still in the job, that's just bad manners.
All opinions are valid,and the more the merrier,I say.
As for Moyes and Rodgers having "saucer eyes",why shouldn't they?
They had reached the top in their chosen profession.
No shame in that,or in failing to achieve what many expected them to achieve.
They were successful enough to be appointed at top Clubs.
Let's applaud their achievements rather than seek to demean.
Was his record that good at Utd? Haven't looked it up to be honest but he got sacked early into his tenure. Ditto at Sampdoria. My objection isn't so much that anyway it's just that as a paying customer I like to watch good football. The teams under Moyes may (or may not) get results but he's not known for his style is he? It's very much a personal view, but week in week out I think the way we play is just as important as results. Maybe not right now because of where we are, but generally speaking over a whole season.

Kiff I hope so too, I cant say why but I am simply not inspired by Moyes, I think it is just one of these managers who after doing well at one club and touted as a top manager goes on a succession of failures with lots of dull chairman prepared to pay for his services and still hoping he will do what he did at Everton (Like an Erickson, McLaren). In all fairness to him he was always going to fail going in after Ferguson, but then failed at a smaller club in Real Sociedad. I cant put my finger on it but I just think he would be bad for the club and hope he is holding out for someone else.

While some are saying football will be unattractive under Moyes it surely can't be worse than it is now. If he kept us up and then moved on to a bigger club it would be a win win for both parties.
