Tooting it's happening mate. NW has family stuff to deal with so won't commit.
Are you going to the Reading game?

Can't make tomorrow night Ellers, but will be going to Burnley the following week. Probably down the C and S beforehand if you are going to be about mate? We're due a catch up!

Championship club Fulham have identified Rangers manager Mark Warburton as a candidate for their vacant managerial role.

Warburton refused to be drawn on the speculation, saying: "We're into a long-term project at Rangers and we're in a good place right now."

BBC Sport understands that there is recognition from Fulham that they may have to wait until the January transfer window before the situation is resolved.

I hope JFH comes in he obviously has flair if he manages how he played I will be happy and hopefully he brings back all our loanees gets Doughty involved alongside Ali and will motivate Cheri and Fer to play to their max!

Why is there so much interest in JFH.. i think he needs more time at Albion ..to show what he can do... this is a big gamble.
May pay off may not but i think it will not payoff ............ hope i am wrong.

Yes, I imagine an announcement will be made soon (assuming he wants the job). I was really rooting for Warnock, but now realize that is not likely a possibility given his current family circumstances. It was great that we had him onboard for a brief spell to turn our ship around and point us in the right direction.

JFH is young, perhaps in the managerial mold of Eddie Howe, so active on the training ground, and can't be too bad to get Burton Albion promoted from League Two and currently top of League One, what you would call going out on a high - hopefully we're not his low.

i can only add that there is nothing in football that is guaranteed.
Doing good at one club then repeating that so often fades away
Looks like NW who remember had TF blaming him in the press for the failings has much better things to be doing in life
Therefore a new name is required … we can all easily draw on the past as I liked Hughes and rated him but didn't like Redknapp at all
We go with the flow … there will many other managers and players at QPR within the next three years IMO

The club is the most important factor and we all have to learn what fickle means

I'd just like to say that I'd prefer Neil Warnock to remain as manager, at least until the end of the season, but I understand his family issues must take priority.

I'd rather we didn't appoint JFH. He is too inexperienced and I don't know how much of his success at Burton Albion results from his inheriting Gary Rowett's team. As others have said, it's too much of a gamble.

Nevertheless, if he is appointed, I will support him and give him time to build an attractive and winning team, just like I did when Chris Ramsey was (mistakenly) appointed.

I may have been right about Ramsey but I dearly, dearly hope I am wrong this time.

Have to agree unfortunately, would love to be able to say he's doing a great job but so far his contribution appears to include:
  • Instigating or contributing to the downfall of HR at a time when should have been working to strengthening the team to fight relegation.
  • Installing CR as manager who clearly wasn't up to the job & failed the chance he was given when temp manager.
  • Not recommending more experienced/suitable managers who would have been available.
  • Clearing out too many players included 1 or 2 who would have been assets this season whilst potentially not selling 1 or 2 others who could have brought fees which could have been spent further strengthening.
  • Questionable transfer dealings during the summer with bringing in a number who aren't really Championship level let alone future Prem players + not bring in defenders until very late so pre-season was wasted (again).
  • Putting a shortlist of pretty poor replacements (hopefully will somehow come good) even though again more experienced/suitable managers are available (including one currently in temp charge).

I'll still be supporting whoever comes in but potentially having 3 different managers during the season is no recipe for any success at the club.
I doubt the DOF concept works at a Club of our size, but really don't agree about Les /CR. They brought n the young talented players most of us have wanted for years, and the likes of Hall, Luongo, CherI, JET, Smithis, and possibly others could supply the core of a decent team the next years. CR is as good a Head Coach as JLH or Powell are likely to be, hard to see any point in firing Ramsey if Les is also not fired and a regular Manager like Pearson or Colin brought in to take over the whole Football show.

Why? We have no hurry. We got Colin.

Agree with that with the exception of one major point. He hasn't got time. Results are required instantly.

With Austin, Fer, Chery, Phillips, Sandro, Faurlin, Luongo, and perfectly decent defence we need to target promotion now.

As bad as we've been with all the Ramsey howlers and lack of confidence and we are only 5 off the playoffs. Just a small improvement from here for remainder of season and playoffs are a certainty on that logic
