This Sane chap.. meant to be one of the best young talents in Europe, let alone Germany, "IF" we can get him then I'm sure alot of that will be due to Klopp's pulling power!
So much potential - but unfortunately, people like Tobes won't rate him because he's not premier league proven and then end up writing him off after a few months because he didn't score 50 goals and 30 assists in his first 5 games .
What's people's thoughts on Ibrahimovic? 34 now but still banging in goals for club and country... Freebie at end of the year. One final chance to have a go in England? Probably want huge wages and can't see him being a huge worker off the ball
No thanks. And no to Alonso (according to latest rumours). Don't like these expensive stop gaps. Let's build for the future.
No to Alonso.. how dare you!!! He's done it in Spain, Germany, Won the Champions League with us, so may has try and complete the set in Italy or maybe France.. Love the fella, but think it would be better to get a "younger" Alonso, if possible..
Liverpool Transfer News: Leroy Sane Offer Made, Nicolas Nkoulou Rumours Emerge please log in to view this image VI-Images/Getty Images The rumours linking Liverpool with a move for Schalke 04 starlet Leroy Sane continue to swirl, with the latest reports claiming the Reds have made a £10 million offer for his services. That's according to German newspaper Bild (h/t Sam Long of the London Evening Standard), who believe the relatively modest offer is but the starting point for the Reds, with an eye on a deal in the January transfer window. The 19-year-old forward has quickly become a hot name in transfer discussions after a fantastic start to the 2015-16 Bundesliga campaign, which has already led to the youngster receiving his first call-up for the German national team. According to WhoScored.com, Sane has already scored four goals and added three assists in 12 Bundesliga matches this season, impressive numbers for a teenager. He's proved himself a versatile option in the attacking third, playing as a winger, attacking midfielder and even as a striker at times. He has bags of technical ability, which complements his raw pace quite well, and for such a young player, his vision is extraordinary. German football writer Cristian Nyari is a fan:
Ha - I love Alonso but he's not what we need in midfield. And as you say, I rather we go for the next Alonso. Rubén Neves would be the ideal option.
£10m for Sane would be a bargain but can't see it happening - expect it will be closer to £20m if not more.
He'll be 34 next year. Unless it's a free transfer and his wages arnt too high then it has to be a no. Over the last few years when we've been linked to him every window I've said yes... But the time has finally come to say no.
He has won 12 league titles in the last 14 seasons with 6 different clubs (plus numerous cups). He either has a really good agent who gets him the best gigs in the world or he makes a massive difference where ever he turns up.
He is technically one of the best players in the history of the game. Unfortunately, He doesn't suit our style of play.
