Yes. But there doesn't always need to be laws that discriminate against tribe, sex and religion. Or laws that oppress the lower classes. There doesn't always need to be people who can't afford medicine , food, and shelter. There doesn't always need to be an entire nation imprisoned by another in the name of security. Terrorists are bad and wrong but they do what they do because of what they see as injustices in their world. Happy people rarely become terrorists.
To be fair. Who knows how many attempts have been foiled. Don't get me wrong. I'm not pro all the surveillance but I'm sure plots have been foiled. Certainly been enough arrests.

Nobody is claiming that western governments and Israel have their hands clean, of course they don't! I don't know what the 911 fake plane theory is all about. I do know that our NY office was in the North Tower. Thankfully all of my colleagues survived but seeing a very real plane fly into a building had a long term impact on many, if not all, of them.
One of my colleagues at the time was talking to his friend at Cantor Fitzgerald. The first plane had hit and he told my colleague that they'd all been told to stay where they were. Needless to say, that was the last time he ever spoke to his friend again!....
