Colin has retired more times than Frank Sinatra, and is known to change his mind about things (Diouf anyone). If offered the job he'd take it, unless he thinks it's utterly hopeless, his ego doesn't give him a choice. He said he wanted to advise clubs on a part time basis, not be a DoF. He wanted to create a new role that people like him and Redknapp could get paid for in their dotage.Colin has said he''s not interested in the Manager position as you say, but he has said he would like a Director of Football position. This makes me think Les may have been having to defend his own position in Malaysia today. If it was the Board who wanted Ramsey out, rather than Les''s recommendation, Les may not be feeling at all safe.
