Colin has said he''s not interested in the Manager position as you say, but he has said he would like a Director of Football position. This makes me think Les may have been having to defend his own position in Malaysia today. If it was the Board who wanted Ramsey out, rather than Les''s recommendation, Les may not be feeling at all safe.
Colin has retired more times than Frank Sinatra, and is known to change his mind about things (Diouf anyone). If offered the job he'd take it, unless he thinks it's utterly hopeless, his ego doesn't give him a choice. He said he wanted to advise clubs on a part time basis, not be a DoF. He wanted to create a new role that people like him and Redknapp could get paid for in their dotage.

It's a shame Fred West isn't about
His shameful past aside There would of been a QPR manager inside him

Other than him and on the outside Terence Trent Derby I can't see anyone suitable for our hoops

We need a Clifton Suspension sort of character mixed with a little of the Millau beauty ... But that be a bridge too far

Colin has been saying for 2 or 3 years he wants this type of position between the Manager and the Board. I read a quote from him saying it again recently, and David Mac wrote the same yesterday in the article about the Malaysia meeting: "Former Rangers manager Warnock was placed in interim charge following Ramsey’s exit, is keen to influence the recruitment process and would like a role at Loftus Road similar to the one currently held by director of football Ferdinand."

Well he's changed his mind (again) then hasn't he, and is busily now undermining Ferdinand. Which may not be a bad thing. He was definitely talking up an advisory 'old gaffer/mentor' part time job, just like the one we gave him. There are plenty of existing DoF jobs around, he was talking about a newish kind of role.

Better Ferd West than Fred Flintstone AKA Harry 'oh bugger my knee's gone' Redknapp.

Lambert comes across boring but done a very good job at Norwich & playing good football, villa that's another story, not sure about him.

I don't think Neil Warnock wants it and they would have not flown out to Asia to decide on NW.

I'm not sure that follows. After the debacle of the Ramsey appointment, which was effectively a coronation, the QPR board have to be seen at least to consider all likely candidates. There's no reason why NW couldn't be invited to throw his hat into the ring, and be considered on his merits like all the rest

Gary Bowyer sacked by Blackburn. That should guarantee Sherwood doesn't come to us.<party>
What kind of complete and utter loser, nut job and mental case would go anywhere near Blackburn?
Answer - Those who have been rejected by QPR.
Personally, l think it is a perfect match for Dim Sim Tim to cut his teeth in the chook house, providing the Zenkys or whatever there called, don't ruffle his feathers.

You know what? I'm just going to write down all the names of potential managers on blank cards. Shuffle them, chuck them in the air then pick one off the floor.
Haven't got a scooby who will be appointed, but to be quite honest will just get behind whoever it is ( not literally obviously :-) )

SLF struck down by food poisoning in Malaysia and may not be able to travel back in time for the fans forum, according to David M WLS. Did Colin slip him something before he left, or was the Malaysian medicine not to his taste?

See Les has dropped out of the fans forum on a sicky.

Hopefully that's in part because of all the questions asking why the **** did you give the job to Ramsey other then the fact he's black and your mate?

Fingers crossed we're doing what we should have done. Get Warburton and Weir and **** Les off out of it to campaign for the Rooney Rule
