No suprise there then, good intentions Chris but just a bit too big for you, stick to coaching & good luck.
The official site says "The club will undergo an immediate recruitment process as the search gets underway for a new Head Coach. In the interim period, Neil Warnock will take temporary charge of First Team affairs."
So he has not been sacked? Only relieved of first team duties. Good coach elsewhere in club structure?
I feel that there's no need for wild celebrations. He obviously tried his best, but was out of his depth imo. I read something from him earlier in the week where he basically said that expectations had been upped from where they were pre-season. He's right too. We all were expecting mid-table survival with youngsters, but then we held on to our better players and everything changed. Hopefully Warnock can get them playing. Adel in a free role anyone?
We start again it's as easy and simple as that ... No guarantees It is what it is Ramsey gone but the infected still live
If you read the statement on the club website rather than just what SSN are saying, he's been relived of first team duties, not left the club. Could well be staying on as a coach. Sky do like to spout ****. I am glad of the change though. Can't say he hasn't had a fair crack of the whip but at the same time how long could it have been left as it was. Warnock in interim charge. Could be taken in 2 ways. Not saying he's got the job till the new contract has been signed or he's gonna do a caretaker job while we find someone else. Whatever happens we now need to get behind the team on a match day. On a side note though I still don't want to see the kebab eater back at any time.
Feel very sorry for him, however always thought he was going to be up against it. I'm afraid now that if he has been relieved of his duties and not sacked then the way QPR operate Sherwood will soon be in with Ramsey on his back room staff
Club statement. CHRIS RAMSEY RELIEVED OF FIRST TEAM DUTIES please log in to view this image PUBLISHED 21:30 4th November 2015 by @QPRFC Chris Ramsey relieved of Head Coach duties with immediate effect ... Ramsey leaves First Team role Ferdinand explains reasons for change Warnock to take temporary charge CHRIS Ramsey has been relieved of his First Team duties at QPR with immediate effect. Ramsey, 53, leaves his position as Head Coach following Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat to Derby County, a result which left the R’s in 13th place in the Sky Bet Championship. Director of Football, Les Ferdinand, told www.qpr.co.uk: “We've made this decision in the best interests of the football club. “It’s no secret that we expected to sell some key players in the summer transfer window, and as such, our target at the start of the season reflected that. “However, keeping these players at the club has seen the mandate change, owing to what we believe this squad is capable of. “We're all desperately disappointed it hasn't worked out with Chris. He has had to deal with this shift in expectation and has worked incredibly hard in doing so.” The club will undergo an immediate recruitment process as the search gets underway for a new Head Coach. In the interim period, Neil Warnock will take temporary charge of First Team affairs. http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/chris-ramsey-leaves-qpr-first-team-coach-2784931.aspx A further announcement will be made in due course.
We need player that can put a shift in and it is well known he won't train properly. We need to pull together I personally have no faith he would put a proper shift in. I've never doubted his talent but it's his ability to apply himself I question. Seems that Benfica feel the same about his application.
When I saw the team last night I wrote on the match day thread... "is this Chris' suicide note"? I felt he had given up last night...and knew it was all over...his body language backed that up to.....A dead man walking. Unlike some of the self-gratifying egos we have had before,Chris always struck me as an honest, hardworking good man. I really wanted him to do well, but I was beginning to see it was too much for him...he lacked experience of big games, of winning dirty, of thinking out the box. He thought if he got the players fit, and they played nice football it would be ok....he was just too inexperienced and too naive. I will not hate him or slang him off...he did his best....Thank you Chris. I wish you well Now come on Rangers, the season starts again and we start about 8 points behind the team's we need to catch
