You missed out my favourite part... "Fuchs will have to be some player to be better than hot prospect Robertson" Absolute gold! Does captain of your national team and having a number of Champions League appearances to your name make you better than a hot prospect playing in the Championship?
I think you possibly need to look up the definition of 'prospect', one's a 29 year old established player, the others a young lad who only moved out of the SPL last season. Personally, I'm not sure he'll actually end up being the player some predict, he's great going forward, but he needs to dramatically improve the defensive side of his game. He certainly got noticed last season... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...td-in-battle-for-12m-Hull-star-Andy-Robertson http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/446121/Andrew-Robertson-Aston-Villa-transfer-news
But the debate was over who would be the best team built up of Leeicester and Hull players and Fuchs, undoubtedly, is better than Robertson.
Maybe re-read my post before questioning my understanding of the word 'prospect'. I never said Fuchs was a prospect...? As for the rest of your post.. Thanks, seems a balanced view. I wasn't aware of that one article which suggested interest from Arsenal and Man Utd. Did you get any bids from Premier League clubs over the summer? EDIT: Apologies, just saw your second article about the bid from Villa in June
I wasn't getting involved in that debate, I was just pointing out that comparing their records to date was a bit daft, as Fuchs has had an eight year head start.
Comparing them isn't daft at all, because they're both left backs and the debate was to determine which players would get into a combined Leicester and Hull XI. Robertson might go onto become the greatest left back in world football, but right now he isn't better than Fuchs and that is what we're determining...
For the record... Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Dyer Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Mahrez Vardy
Yep, pretty much agree with this. The only real area for debate is RB and two CB spots. I was rather shocked, when I looked at last seasons Premier League table, that we had only conceded 4 more goals than them. I thought they were tight defensively, but just didn't score too many. The fact that they were almost as bad as us defensively is quite funny, we were awful first half of the season.
As I said, I've absolutely no interest in a game of 'my player's better than your player', I'm not twelve.
If your players were the better ones, you would be As I've said countless times, it was all just a fun exercise to see if you were really as arrogant and deluded as I first thought. The journeys been fun, and I've proved my point along the way
Yet you're still here? Fettis or some other plank came on here starting it so Jack and I will continue to laugh at him thanks.
I came onto see the reaction from the game not to gloat , all I saw was a load of pissy excuses about why you lot lost and played so badly . Maybe it was because super Danny Simpson didn't play ?
Show me one? I can't be bothered to look back... But don't remember any... Show me a quote to jog my memory...
I haven't seen anybody say that Hull didn't deserve to win and that we were well below our best. Our rusty reserves weren't enough and we think that we shuld have played our more first teamers because we'd have had a far better chance at winning.
