Well it's all about fish over there so if you chuck them a line with bait..... Then come on to pages of their bites!
To paraphrase a quote, which I think perfectly sums up trying to reason/have a normal conversation with a Hull fan is the one about playing chess with a pigeon... No matter what you say, what move you make, how good you are at chess... The pigeon will just kick over the pieces, sh*t all over the board, and strut around acting like they've won anyway
Haha I like that. It's true for most but that Filey lad has always been a really good poster on here and I can even enjoy OLM's comments but he does turn when you throw the line in! They have some tossers on their board including the genius who said he'd rather have lost if Vardy's leg got broken! There are no words
Yep, Filey was a good lad. OLM is okay until he resorts to personal insults, which is normally after about 2 or 3 posts. Maybe a couple of others, but on the whole, I really have no time for the Hull lot on here. Never have I known such a classless bunch of fans... Both in defeat, and in victory. Compare that lot to the Southampton and Norwich fans who we've been chatting to recently, all the way up here on the Premier League board... They are an absolute class above.
Definitely agree about Southampton and Norwich, very gracious fans. I always think the Hull fans have had a Pearson sized chip on their shoulders. What ever happened to our QPR friends?
I'm a perfectly reasonable chap, it's that Miami fellow you need to keep in line, I'd suggest a 48 hour ban to start with and we can review it from there. Love OLM
Pointless bickering, random statements and close to the bone insults - I genuinely missed having you Hull lot here on our board as we had to create our own drama and it wasn't pretty *cough* Good luck in the next round, but save some effort for the Championship as I want to see you back with us here next season
No probs here, sounded like we wern't at the races yesterday, nevermind, lets just hope it doesn't affect our Prem form, should still be picking up points before a tough December.
good one. I thought you only got banned for being abusive on here. Not my style. Maybe the rules for you ladies on the Hull board are different.
I don't, I found it hilarious when that arrogant bunch of deluded ****wits got relegated, and this board has been an absolute dream ever since Long may it continue!
Looking at the draw they're welcome to it. They will get smashed by Man City whereas that's a routine league game for us so they can have their big night! In all seriousness I'd have been really disappointed if it'd been Boro/Wednesday etc but I wouldn't have fancied our chances away at Man City
He's saying that it's not really much of an achievement to reach the Quarter finals of a competition the big clubs don't particularly take seriously (See Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Leicester's results). It's obviously an achievement to win the whole thing.
Behave, don't post utter tripe for the sake of it. We're 5th in the Premier League, 3 poitns off the top coming up to November and you're slumming it in the Championship. Our prospects are potential European football next season Wherea yours are, at best, a relegation scrap in the Premier League next season (although I think there are stronger teams in the division you're in for a start)
You have to be in it to win it - and I'm disapointed to have gone out, particularly given how the draw has now panned out. As to getting smashed by Man City? - I thought the same last season when Middlesbro' went there in the FA Cup ... Man City can be got at, as West Ham and Spurs have shown this season ... but they can also be unbeleiveably good, as they showed at home to Chelsea ... for me you have to be causing them problems at the back where I thnk they are, at best, adequate ... their flair players can destroy you unless they are forced into spending most of their energies helping their defence ... Big positive for us from Tuesday was that we had a second clean sheet (in normal time) with a fully replaced (reserve) defence - we need to maintain that defensive resolve at West Brom whilst scorng our normal brace with the first choice 'offensive' line-up ... Good luck to Hull ... they'll need some against Man City ... but I'd not be at all surprised to see a Championship side in the final this season ...
Yes, well done to Hull, for finally making it all the way to the quarter-finals of the League Cup, on their 55th appearance in the competition
Like I said, few years ago we were 5th in the Premier League after a quarter of the season and you were slumming it in League One/Championship. Things change quickly, and you don't have a prayer of European football. Worth noting, we were actually playing European football last season, so if anything, you'd be looking to emulate us on that front... Once again, enjoy it whilst it lasts, but you'll look silly when you drop like a stone if you start getting all billy big bollocks after 10 games.
