You might even say he is a crisp mover.

That comment was almost upbeat DB.

Let's hope Walker is reliable when it comes to the crunch.

All is not lost - none of these played today:

Gomes; Hutton, Gallas, King, BAE, Pienaar, Thudd, Sandro, Townsend, Dos Santos, Crouch.

We'd have settled for that as a first team a few years back. Coupled with the ten best from those in SA plus a few signings it is still a great squad

    Gomes
Hutton - gone by the weekend
    Gallas - injured
King - fifteen games or so next season
    Peanut - not good enough
    Thudd
Sandro - out for at least a month
Townsend - won't get promoted further than the bench unless something catastrophic happens
Dos Santos - gone by 1st August
    Crouch

So thats three, perhaps four first teamers for the opening game ready

    And ten from the tour

    FREEdel
    Carlo

    Daws
    Ekotto
    Walker
    Kaboul
    Charlie
Bongani - for ****s sake I hope not, proably loaned (Rangers?)
Bassong - gone by deadline day
Naughton - will go on loan (Swindon?)
    Rose

    Modric
    Niko
(flip a coin, one will be gone by deadline day)

    VDV
    Bale
    Lennon
Bentley - gone by deadline day
Palacios - gone by 1 August
Livermore - another to be loaned out (probably Rangers)
Jenas - the sound of the bottom of the barrel being scraped

    Pav
Defoe - on the evidence so far this pre-season, confidence shot get rid
PSB - gone by the weekend
    2Saints - gone by 1 August

Yeah, immediate future looks proper rosey doesn't it

Well at least we can fill the bench with keepers again!

LOL your posts are so depressing to read at the moment.

We'll still finish in the top 6 next season !!!

Let's be honest, top 6 won't be enough for certain players.

Gone are the days when teams were allowed a certain amount of short term failure. Now it's top 4 every season or **** you I want to leave. Much is made of Alex Ferguson being given chances to turn it around. He would not be able to do so today (a state of affairs for which he has a major responsibility)

We won't finish top six next season, we'll finish eighth, and thats me with my optomistic hat on.

And don't get me started on the 40 year old "reliable", "consistent" keeper for whom the idea of safe hands is flapping one limp wristedly at a shot from a ****ing right back last night

You can tell that my state of mind has been seriously degenerated by watching that tripe last night when I forget how to spell!

Everton, twice, if I recall correctly. Also Surprise Package will surely also be pushing us all the way.

Even if Modric left and we got no-one in at all, I reckon we should finish 6th at worst. Everton and the rest don't have the quality players we have.

hahaha I forgot about Surprise Package.

I still think that we will finish above Liverpool, the signings they have made aren't anything special (Suarez aside) and it will be interesting to see how Kenny does in a full season instead of half a season with no pressure.

Everton?? Have they signed Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? Because their current squad is no way near as good as ours.

I'm pretty sure you can post links on here as long as it isn't advertising to rival sites.

Surprise package - I think Sunderland, if their signings gel, I really do.

Even if we keep Modric, and assuming that we get either Vucinic or that mercenary, greedy twat from the blue Mancs, we're going to struggle -

Bale is no longer the quantity he was, pace to burn and ability sure but now other teams know he's prone to injury and can be knocked out of the game (as shown by Charlie Adam)

    VDV has a suspect temperament

Lennon still doesn't know how to cross the ball

Palacios is prone to rash tackles

    Huddlestone's immobile

Krancjar probably won't be with us anymore

Pienaar isn't up to scratch, a shadow of the player we thought we were getting from Everton

Bentley probably won't be here, but has no pace and has lost his deadball ability too

and Jenas is just plain ****e

but thats only my opinion, and I am either a depressed bloke, bastard or I drink bleach, apparently...
