The things that have really stuck with me from both games is that we lack pace in reserve and that I really hate South African football.

i know I'm a pessimist, but honestly, has anyone seen anything in our first two pre-season games that inspires optomism???????????
Oh, wait, I've thought of something, I'm optomistic I'll be able to see the ESPN games as I've found a weblink that has provided pretty much uninterrupted coverage so far
Bale has looked pretty decent I think - plus Van der Vaart scored from a free kick!

Well it was almost two draws away from home so it's not too bad. The commentator said it was a decent game. These matches don't say too much. Remember under Ramos murdering every team and then being bottom? Remember Chelsea last season having a dismal pre season and then firing on all cylinders? Patience lads patience.

I switched to Digisports with a manic commentary in Spanish? It sounded like the most exciting game of the year. Shame the visuals were not quite as good.
That twitter seems real, he has posted pics of himself from his hospital bed so unless a nurse has set it up, i'd assume it is him.
