    tots, its also about building confidence, for the strikers by scoring and the defence by keeping clean sheets!

    Walker makes a superb run, playing the ball to Kranjcar on the edge of the box.
    He's open, so he decides to try and be flash and backheel it.
    Doesn't work.
    Wasteful.

    This is inept, uncoordinated, lethargic CRAP!!
    The only good thing is that it has proved once and for all that Keane, Jenas, Bentley must be jettisoned immediately - unfortunately soon to be followed out of the door by Palacios, Krancjar and Defoe.
    Modric looked disinterested and is clearly not 'connected, Pavs first touch 8 times out of 10 was woeful and the 'Gomes disease' has struck one of the most consistent keepers in PL history.
    Yes, I know it's an early friendly and we were short a couple of guaranteed first teamers but this was dreadful.......
    The Top 4 will hardly be quaking in their boots at the prospect of facing us!

    Yep. It's pre season for both sides but Pirates passing and movement looks a lot better than our's.

    i know I'm a pessimist, but honestly, has anyone seen anything in our first two pre-season games that inspires optomism???????????

    Oh, wait, I've thought of something, I'm optomistic I'll be able to see the ESPN games as I've found a weblink that has provided pretty much uninterrupted coverage so far :1980_boogie_down:
