Yeah. Shame less than a week before Spurs... If he had had two weeks with the squad we'd score double digits against spuds. With only a few days he may not have had enough time with them to hit double digits. They're still mostly a Brodge side so we will score 9 goals or fewer.
Spurs hammered city not long ago, I think they will be up for this and will likely win. I would be happy with a draw. Interested to see (by selection) what Klopp has made of the team so far.
I'm not as concerned as much with the result as I am the performance direction. Klopp hasn't had time to really direct the players yet but hopefully we get a glimpse of our direction.
Far too early to see a difference. Klopp even said as much himself too. Any difference we do see will be down to the players wanting to impress the new manager #honeymoon
I'd go for; Mignolet Clyne Gomez Sakho Moreno Can Henderson Lallana Firmino Coutinho Ings The mobility and link up play of the front 4 is key. Easily substitute Ings for either Sturridge or Benteke. Can and Henderson would pair up well. Allen would be able to replace either. We are 1-2 players away from a great team.
Just as a wrote this, this comes out: @LivEchoLFC: #LFC assistant Zeljko Buvac given green light to start work at Melwood today http://t.co/XT02fcyssQ http://t.co/s8kpQVITvh
Not quite... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/14/jurgen-klopp-zeljko-buvac-liverpool?CMP=share_btn_tw
Had panic attack. My news aggregator had a link to daily star: Liverpool rocked as Jurgen Klopp faces first game without star striker. Then I realised the wum paper was only talking about Benteke. Almost gave me a heart-attack there.
He might be willing to come to us now we have Klopp! No I worried Studge or maybe even Ings were injured. Already knew Benteke was. Studge getting injured again could **** up our season he's our only "star" striker. Not too worried about Benteke... Hopefully he'll be a better player under Klopp but his absence isn't too bad for the club. / actually isn't Ings injured too?
