Decent performance from Pelle and eventually got his goal with a smart finish.

Certainly out performed his fellow strikers in this one and looks like he has one foot firmly in the tournament squad.

Florenzi looks like he is going through a Bale style metamorphosis from full back to attacking midfielder. One to look out for.

So with Turkey qualifying, and I think Croatia have squeezed through as well, throw in Albania not to mention the right-wing ultras of Poland, Italy, Russia, and the French themselves with their North African populace, the French authorities are set for weeks of potential mayhem. Chelsea fans you are welcome back any time in the French capital!!

Get in there Grazi, I'm chuffed for him! He was excellent again, despite not getting too much service, and against a side who congested the final third massively. He has improved dramatically since joining us.
That takes his return to 8 goals in 15 games so far this season :)

Grazi has to be a good bet for Euro 16 now, from where he was 3 years ago that's up there with Rickie's achievements. All thanks to Ronald.

Sounds like Virgil had a shocker for Holland...Celtic fans having a field day. Let's hope he got it out of his system.

Must have been a lot of in-fighting in the Dutch squad that Hiddink and Blind have been unable to resolve thus far. It has happened in the past to them so no surprise that they are having another bout of this.

For as long as I can remember I've had zero expectation of England, which is why they never really disappoint me. I pay little attention to the media because they've always done what they do and they have been proven to know very little.

EDIT: Tbh, I get more satisfaction out of Italy. They've only really disappointed me once or twice.

The Dutch FA have backed Danny Blind because they know Ronald isn't going to be budged into becoming the national team coach until he's damn well good and ready, and that could be some years away. According to Rudd Gullit, everyone wants him to be the Dutch manager, but he's having far too much fun at Saints to stop being the manager here until at least the end of his contract. And although some of the media continue to mention his name, I think I've heard and read Koeman say he staying until the end of his contract [and lately, maybe some more] on half a dozen occasions over his tenure at Saints, at the bare minimum. Even the responsible sports media [yeah, three words that perhaps you thought you'd never see in the same sentence] are beginning to believe him. So Danny Blind or someone else, it is for the foreseeable future.

Hopefully they get it right, & in 18 months they won't need or want another change.

I think that, at the moment, Ron feels he's in a very good place. He has a tiny bit of the maverick about him, which is why he doesn't automatically go to the biggest club, or his country, when they deign to wave in his direction. All he can do here is good. Club ambition or not, Saints are never going to sack him unless there is an absolute disaster. Ronald is a beacon of brilliance at SFC. He's in the Premier League where he wants to be. His reputation and respect from his playing days could hardly be higher. His managerial reputation was uneven, though generally good, is now growing by the day. He could start a bit of a dynasty here, is he so chose. All Saints have to do is go with him. I can quite easily see him staying past his contract because we're attractive to him. He can build something here.
