Liverpool's squad is actually fine, it's just that Rodgers didn't seem to have a coherent idea of how to use it.
Benteke's a very dangerous striker, for example, but he isolated him completely and the team rarely crossed it, which utterly neutralised him.
You don't buy a horse and then complain that it's not a cow.
... you might if you were planning to make your own butter :)

Klopp, to me, sounds like a very dodgy character in a bad episode of 'Allo 'Allo, and my general feeling is that he always will.

I will never be able to take him seriously, I'm afraid.

I find it hilarious that Mousers are seeing Klopp as their saviour. There was the same fervour surrounding Tramp Kenny's appointment, and we all know how that ended!

So with the heroic Brendan Rodgers likely to be dossing it on the dole very soon, Liverpool fans have been discussing who could take over. There's been some genuinely brilliant calls. Brilliantly funny that it.

Klopp - <laugh> think he would rather retire.

Ancelotti - from Madrid to Liverpool... Like Paris to Skelmersdale...

Just a few from the gift that keeps on giving to get us started.

Right! The connection between a green turd and The Mouser's new manager is escaping me at this moment. But then I'm not a Sun journalist and probably wouldn't have thought of comparing Taylor to a common root vegetable.

Voltaire, when urged to renounce the devil on his death bed, replied "This is no time to be making new enemies"
