LVG has in his United contract that if Disneyland come calling with an opprtunity to play the top part of the totem pole in their Pocahontas set, he can take it ...
One relegation and almost another on his CV. Only been around a few years too. You lot will destroy him. Farewell, Klopp! You've gone for a name and put zero thought in it BTW, he did great in a two team league, when it became more competitive... Well, you saw.
Black Metal. Klopp's clearly a fan of the early church burning lot from Norway, despite what this clip might suggest:
We all know that there is a newspaper headline just waiting to be posted: Klopp in Kop Flop (after first loss) or Klopp in Kop Drop (when relegated)
He did get Mainz relegated and failed to get them back up at the first attempt but prior to that he also got them promoted to the top flight for the first time and qualified for Europe. The back to back league wins and cup success at Dortmund as well as getting them to the CL final certainly means he has a good reputation as a coach and one that is well deserved. UIR is full of **** as usual, every manager has failures in his career. Take a look at LVG's career it isn't a tale of win after win there's plenty of fail in there and some of his success is in the Dutch league which is a worse standard than the Bundasliga.
"We all know that there is a newspaper headline just waiting to be posted: Klopp in Kop Flop (after first loss) or Klopp in Kop Drop (when relegated)" Klopp is Top of the Kop Flops (when sacked)
Keystone Klopp! That's the one I'm waiting for. You just know that there's a hack at The Sun or The Mail waiting for the chance to write it.
He's a very good coach but he's not the be all and end all. It will take a whole lot more to make you top 4 regulars. He will need to buy a whole new team. Swiss ramble says you have less money available than any premier league club though. So who's getting sold? Klopp got fed up of players being sold under him at Dortmund.... Its going to happen every season until you run out of sellable players ( that s when Coutinho is hone BTW, or next year). Don't get me wrong, he's a great manager bit you're not a great club and lack the tools to be one right now.
Liverpool's squad is actually fine, it's just that Rodgers didn't seem to have a coherent idea of how to use it. Benteke's a very dangerous striker, for example, but he isolated him completely and the team rarely crossed it, which utterly neutralised him. You don't buy a horse and then complain that it's not a cow.
