Suddenly very exciting to be a Liverpool fan again! Let's hope Klopp can really put us back on the map Didn't think FSG had this in them
Klopp quiz: http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/games/klopp-quiz I nailed all of them except I didn't know his middle name is Norbert
Not sure if by that you mean we are in danger of being arrogant? It certainly wasn't what I was feeling, just that any major club stuck in the doldrums can be pulled out of it with the right combination of circumstances, and for rivals to dismiss the possibility as madness was just their bias, imo. Top managers would fall into two groups, I think. There are those who just want to use a club to add to their own personal achievements, and those who are interested in being part of something ( I mean "project" here, but I hate that term), and getting their self -worth from making it happen. Mourinho is a prime example of the first type- he wants a ready-made club that he can add to his trophy haul with and bolster his own myth. He spent the whole of the season before last whining about not having a decent striker rather than getting on with the job of getting the best out of what he had. Let's hope Klopp falls well into the second group. I have no idea why Ancelotti "would avoid us", as you put it. It would seems that Klopp was already lined up but we had to go through the performance of correct procedure in public. So maybe Ancelotti was never truly in the frame anyway?
As ambassador it will be his duty to negotiate the Premier Leagues terms of surrender as Kaiser Klopp crushes the opposition.
