I'd love to go but I'd have to go in their winter. Doubt I could hack a 22 hour flight these days like.I've been a bit naughty with the Aus stereotyping today. I must say I find it a very appealing country. Apart from the heat. I couldn't live there because of that but would love to visit.

I'd like to bring back a Tasmanian Devil as a pet.
Aus & Canada are the countries I'd love to go to most.
Worked with both in Yugo & they were all sound.

I'd need to win a lot of dosh before I could even contemplate it.If there's any possible way you can go... You should go. Simple as that. Beautiful place full of brilliant people. Food's great, beer's great, women are immense, the architecture is interesting, the landscape beautiful it's a great place to make a living and make a life.
The heat isn't actually that bad as it's dry. I can deal with 36/38 in Melbourne (their summer) better than I can deal with 25 in London. It's weird but true.
Even harder to get in there than Aus mate.Canada is the place for me. The Climate gives it the nod ahead of Aus in my top two places to live.

If I was gonna go it would have to be for at least a month.
Where did you break your flight at?
I know, well my Mam knows a couple of families who have emigrated to Australia and they say it's the best thing that's ever happened to them. My Mam told me we were close to going at one point when I was a young lad. She went out there a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it, brought some great photo's back and apparently in parts of the outback you can literally drive for a full day on these roads and not see anybody. If there's any possible way you can go... Apparently if you are in a pub in Australia and you look a bit intoxicated they throw you out. Really strict

He telt me on the ashes thread. Australia is one of the biggest beer drinking nations in the world.
