Totally agree with this. Benteke is a real handful and often occupies two defenders.....which should leave acres of space for others. Think he'll do fine if we get a boss that knows how to use him.

I actually think it's imminent. BR simply cannot make 4-3-3 work with this lot. Just hope Lovren picks up an injury soon or Sahko will be off in a hurry - he must be worried about his national starting slot!!

Truly hope it doesn't return. can't stand three at the back and although it worked for a while last season, it also got figured out before we stopped using it. Plus, our weakest area for players is CB, why play more of them

I wrote yesterday that one of the reasons he has to go is because he has failed to improve the teams despite spending tons of money.
He replaces settled average players with unsettled average players.

So you did, shows how much notice I really take of your posts
Oh, don't get me wrong i dont think its swinging in cross after cross for benteke, but with your pedestrian midfield minus coutinho (and if Firmino ever gets the chance to go central), your play is way too narrow and even the very little width you have there isn't really any crosses, so most of the time you just pass it around in front of an organised and packed central midfield/defence. With Hendo out you don't even have the runners in midfield to get past the striker. You don't move the ball quickly and the only times you have looked dangerous is on the counter which you've not even been that effective with.
I think Ibe put the cross in for Benteke's goal
wasn't is Hendo who put the cross in for Bentekes goal (bournemouth). if you're talking about Ibe's cross that was headed out not very well, i'm not sure i'd give that assist to him
. He did play well when he came on yesterday though but in general this season he's been pants.

1,000% this! Irritates the hell out of me how long we take to move the ball about. We often get the chance to counter attack but hold on to the ball too long before it ends up going back to the CBs or even Migs at times
Most of our fans just blame the scapegoat for this but he wasn't on the pitch on Saturday when it happened over and over again.

Season was opening up nicely until Lallana got injured
Its not that bad
If we want to be a top team then I think it is.
We have a small handful of good players who I think are 1st team material for a top 4 club (Couts, Clyne, Can).
Even then I'm not sure Couts would get in City, Arsenal or Chelsea's squad and Can is in there as I think he will be pretty good.
Then we have Henderson on his own as good, but not world class.
Benteke, Ings and Firn I will wait and see on.
Decent squad players (Skrtel, Moreno, Flanno, Milner, Lucas, Lallana).
1 guy you cant rely on as he's injured a lot (Sturridge).
Potential (Ibe, Gomez, Origi).
Dross/ players no longer required that need to be shipped out (Enrique, Toure, Lovren, Sakho, Allen, Markovic)
So basically we have 3 positions fixed down and a lot of squad players.

Well yes, if we want to be the top side in the world then we need to buy two top quality players in every position
