It's a lose-lose situation for the Chavs: win and they get negative PR for bullying a member of their staff to protect Moron, lose and they...well, loseGood luck against the ones Chelsea can afford

David De Gea has signed a new deal with Utd.
I'm confused. Please help.
Del Bosque has said he won't make the Euro squad if he doesn't play this season. My guess is Mr Woodward told him to sign a new deal so that, if he does leave, they will be guaranteed a fee of some sort or else he won't play this season, thus jeopardizing his place in the Spain squad.
I'm sure there's a minimum buyout clause in that contract extension, though. You don't suddenly choose to sign a 4 year contract somewhere less than two weeks after you were prepared to leave the damn place!
Sounds very plausible. So Real are getting stung for a big fee in January then.
Either way, it's a win-win situation for you.
If he does leave, you will be more or less guaranteed a very large fee, probably a record fee for a goalkeeper, given that Madrid have more money than sense.
If he doesn't, you keep one of the best goalkeepers in the world at your club.
So whichever way you look at it, it works in your favour.

And, either way, it doesn't really matter, Little Luke, because United are never going to win the title, anyway, so what does it matter?
